As with cities, depending on various cultural definitions, what is considered a forest may vary significantly in size and have different classifications according to how and of what the forest is composed. can be found in all regions capable of sustaining growth, at altitudes up to the tree line, except where natural fire frequency or other disturbance is too high, or where the environment has been altered by human activity.The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of and regeneration.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore forest restoration and regeneration. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
