The SI.8 million unit contains eight licensed beds, plus two observation beds, an infusion room for out- patient treatment, and a piocedtire room for invasive treatments such as ihe placement of intravenous catheters. In this ward, (he beds are legarded as 'islands' of saiely, where no invasive procedures are performed. Moreover, the rooms are equipped with VCRs, PlajStations, and in-ioom monitors.
