Tickets are on sale April 4 for the Chris Young with special guest Courtney Cole concert at The Evergreen State Fair on August 28. Ticket prices, which include fair gate admission, are $30-$53 and may be purchased via www.EvergreenFair.org or by telephone through Etix at 800-514-3849, ext. 2 (service fees apply). Tickets may also be purchased in person Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds administration office (no service fees). The Fairgrounds administration office is closed weekends, legal holidays and daily from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Chris Young is an American country music artist. In 2006, he was declared the winner of the television program Nashville Star, a singing competition which aired on the USA Network. After winning the competition, Chris was signed to RCA Records Nashville and released his self-titled debut album that same year. It produced two singles on Hot Country Songs: “Drinkin' Me Lonely” and “You're Gonna Love Me”. A second album, “The Man I Want to Be”, was released September 1, 2009. It included the singles “Voices”, “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song)”, and the title track, which all went to number one. Young's third album, “Neon”, produced two more number ones in “Tomorrow” and “You” in 2011 as well as the Top 20 hit “I Can Take It from There” in 2012. Its follow-up, 2013's “A.M.”, produced the Top 5 single “Aw Naw” and “Who I Am With You.” Chris Young’s website is http://chrisyoungcountry.com/.

Courtney Cole will open the show with a 30-minute acoustic set. Courtney was on CMT’s Next Superstar. When she is not opening for country artists, she is in the studio working on perfecting her voice and musical talents – she is honest and real, two qualities that define country music.
