RACE DATES: SAFETY: Event 1: Tirohia to Te Aroha - Sunday 5 July 2015 Roads are open so give way to traffic at all road crossings, obey marshals’ Event 2: Waihi to Paeroa - Sunday 16 August 2015 instructions - they are there for your safety. Event 3: Paeroa to Thames - Sunday 27 September 2015 USE OF HAURAKI RAIL TRAIL: RACE DISTANCE: As this is a designated Bike Trail, runners/walkers must give way to bikes. Tirohia to Te Aroha - 14km. Individual or relay Keep to the left of trail. Share with care. Waihi to Paeroa - 21.6km. Individual or relay Paeroa to Thames - 29km. Individual or relay DRINK STATIONS AND TOILETS: Drink station and toilet locations are shown on the event map. All routes on the Hauraki Rail Trail are approximate distances.
