The Chris Tucker Foundation, a 501(c)3, is a non-proft organization dedicated to making a diference through implementing innovative initiatives and funding life-changing programs. Chris’ vision is to make a positive global impact in youth by galvanizing community leaders and engaging a collective community to address critical needs afecting our future generations.
The foundation has remained busy in touching the lives of hundreds of young people throughout his hometown of Atlanta, GA. Aimed at inspiring youth to pursue their goals, The Dream Symposium invited Chris, along with leading thought leaders, to share with 500 elementary and middle school students the importance of perseverance. Since the foundation’s inception, Chris has worked with The Boys & Girls Club to provide shoes, clothes and even gifts during the holiday season. Additionally, his eforts have expanded into meaningful causes around reducing homelessness, global health disparities and poverty.
Chris has long been known for his humanitarian eforts and has funded a number of local organizations and charities in his hometown of Atlanta, GA. He’s also recognized nationally and globally for his support of those organizations or initiatives whose goals and missions focus on youth development and welfare. Additionally, the foundation has partnered with Camp Spotlight, a 4-week comprehensive performing arts camp located in Decatur, GA. It not only provided fnancial support for the camp but also provided need-based scholarships for participating youth as well as sponsors “lunch and learn” sessions for campers featuring industry professionals and community leaders.
2020 was a challenging year, to say the least, and the Chris Tucker Foundation made it a goal to help as much as possible, as children all over were interrupted by the pandemic. Our organization helped feed children during Spring Break of 2020 with Operation Lunchbox in Henry County. Beyond his personal accomplishments, Chris is most proud of the work of The Chris Tucker Foundation. ABOUT CHRIS TUCKER Chris Tucker is an international award-winning actor, producer and comedian best known for his role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour blockbuster series. His career began in the early 1990s when he became a favorite on Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Comedy Jam and rose to national prominence with his frst starring role, alongside Ice Cube, in the 1995 cult classic Friday. In 1997, Tucker executive produced and co-starred with Charlie Sheen in the hit movie Money Talks and later appeared in Luc Besson’s internationally successful flm, The Fifth Element. He also co-starred in the 2013 Oscar-nominated flm Silver Linings Playbook.
In 2015, Chris released Chris Tucker Live exclusively on Netfix, marking his frst project he has starred in and produced through his own company - Chris Tucker Entertainment. He currently tours around the world preforming live comedy shows which have received rave reviews globally.
Aside from entertaining millions of fans, Tucker is a dedicated humanitarian, spending much of his spare time traveling the world doing charitable work through The Chris Tucker Foundation and making a diference. YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS The Chris Tucker Foundation has made it possible for young people to pursue their goals by providing fnancial assistance for higher education opportunities. The Foundation has also contrbuted fnancially to extra curricular programs like the Welsey Lakes Elementary School Beta Club, making it possible for the team to travel out of state to participate in national compeition.

Camp Spotlight is a musical theatre program that teaches intensives of modern and classical dance, singing, acting, musical production, and technical skills to build the performing confdence of youth. In 2017, The Chris Tucker Foundation partnered with Camp Spotlight for their month-long performing arts summer camp. Youth ages 7 - 17, male and female, are trained by award-winning theatrical performer Stepp Stewart along with top industry consultants and producers. Chris Tucker and the foundation worked directly with nearly 100 Atlanta metropolitan campers who perform at the Porter Sandford Performing Arts Center for nearly 400 guests during the students’ culminating event.
