XM RADIO TO BROADCAST "" FINALE CONCERT LIVE ON OCTOBER 11

XM to broadcast the 4-hour concert in its entirety featuring , and the , Band, the Dixie Chicks, , , , , Jurassic 5, Keb' Mo', Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, , and R.E.M.

Washington D.C., October 06, 2004 -- XM Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: XMSR), the nation's leading provider of satellite radio, today announced it will broadcast live the finale of the Vote For Change concerts - presented by MoveOn PAC to benefit America Coming Together (ACT) - on October 11, starting at 7:00 pm (ET). All of the 13 artists participating in this fall's 37 city Vote For Change tour, including Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews will be performing at Washington, DC's MCI Center and heard live on XM. A team of XM on-air personalities will be reporting before, during and after this landmark concert.

The Vote for Change concert and the performer interviews will be broadcast on XM Live Channel 200.
