Наш Общий Праздник Our Common Holiday № 4 АПРЕЛЬ 2006 APRIL ПОЧТОВЫЙ ЯЩИК / POST BOX Наш общий праздник Год назад мы с женой и детьми впервые и во многом случайно попали на тор- жества по случаю международного весеннего праздника Новруз в московских Лужниках. Тогда на нас произвели неизгладимое впечатление красочность и неподдельная искренность нового для нас праздничного действа. В нынешнем году мы уже ждали наступления Новруза, дети замучили нас про- сьбами непременно еще раз сходить в Лужники на оригинальное восточное тор- жество. Придя, обратили внимание, что народу на этот раз было еще больше, а праздник – еще ярче. Особенно нам понравились украшения туркменского павиль- она. А угощения на туркменском дастархане были удивительно вкусными. Очень хорошо, что благодаря усилиям Департамента межрегионального сотрудничества, национальной политики и связей с религиозными организация- ми правительства Москвы при участии иностранных посольств и представи- тельств российских регионов, а также национальных общественных объединений города Москвы это торжество органично вписалось в жизнь мегаполиса. Теперь уже с полным правом можно говорить о появлении новой устойчивой традиции в жизни москвичей. Новруз стал настоящим праздником мира и доб- рососедства. Он помогает нам всем лучше узнавать, а значит, и понимать друг друга. Семья НИКОЛАЕВЫХ Москва Our common holiday A year ago my wife, children and me for the first time by chance got on the cele- brations on the occasion of the international spring holiday Novruz in Moscow Luzhniki. The beauty and undissembled sincerity of the festivity produced indeli- ble impression upon us. This year we were waiting for Novruz holiday, children were pleading us to visit Luzhniki by no means and see original orient celebration. We draw attention that this time there were much more people and the holiday was brighter. We enjoyed the decoration of Turkmen pavilion enormously. As for food on Turkmen das- tarhan - it was amazingly tasty! It is very good that thanks to the efforts of the Department of interregional coop- eration, national policy and communications with the religious organizations of Moscow government with the participation of foreign embassies and representative offices of Russian regions, as well as Moscow national public associations, they have managed to smoothly enter this celebration in megalopolis life. By now it is valid to say that new stable tradition appeared in Moscow. Novruz became the real holiday of peace and neighborliness. It helps get each other’s measure , so to understand each other. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov opened the conference and delivered a speech. The head of state stressed the great significance of the centuri- es-old Nowruz holiday. Highlighting the ethi- cal-philosophical and culturological aspects of the holiday, President Gurbanguly Berdi- muhamedov said that «sacred Nowruz sym- bolizes our spiritual, historical and cultural unity». Stressing the consolidating role of Nowruz holiday in the modern world, the Pre- sident of Turkmenistan said that the recogni- tion of Nowruz as International Day by the UN General Assembly made people happy and pride, as Nowruz brings people together and opens up new ways to take their relations to higher levels.
