Plant Proteins provide the building blocks for growth and repair of tissues and are involved in a wide range of metabolic & biochemical processes within the body. Unlike other macro nutrients such as carbohydrates and fat our body does not store , so it must be ingested as part of a balanced . Plant based proteins are a good source of fibre compared to many traditional sources of protein such as meat, dairy products & eggs. Protein & fibre can increase satiety (feelings of fullness), reducing feelings of hunger. Vegan & vegetarian.

Choosing plant protein has significant positive impacts on the environment – especially in the reduction of water consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

PEA PROTEIN 80-85% Produced using an environmentally friendly process with no organic solvents. Compared to the other plant proteins; Pea is rich in Iron, Zinc, Copper, Potassium and Magnesium. Available as:

• Powder • Hydrolysed for solubility • Texturised typically used in meat analogues

RICE PROTEIN 85-90% Produced using physical processes of milling, separation, concentration and drying. Compared to the other plant proteins; is rich in Iron and Phosphorus. Available as:

• Powder • Hydrolysed for solubility

Plant Proteins

MUNG BEAN PROTEIN 80-85% From the same plant family as peas and lentils. Compared to the other plant proteins; Mung Bean is a high source of fibre, Zinc, Calcium and Magnesium. Said to be the next big trend in plant proteins.

PUMPKIN SEED PROTEIN 75-80% The manufacturing process is purely physical with no further extraction or concentration, so the natural nutty flavour is preserved. Good dispersibility allows many applications.

HEMP FLOUR 50% PROTEIN Whole seed meal with the oil removed.

The human body needs to consume nine “essential amino acids”.

A complete protein will contain all of these and that is rare to find in a single plant protein. It is therefore ideal to combine plant protein sources to accomplish this balance for maintaining a fully functioning body. In addition, all protein sources have unique benefits which we would like to discuss with you in more detail.
