Character Club

By: Elena Barroqueiro & Michaela Cicenia

At East, character counts. There are many steps that the school takes to ensure that good character is practiced every day. Mr. Weidenbush is the advisor of the Character Club, which is made up of students who display good character and are role models for the school. The club meets on most Thursdays, working on campaigns such as No One Eats Alone, Spreading Kindness Daily, and Standing Up to Bullying. Even if you are not a part of Character Club, make sure to participate in fundraisers, activities, and monthly lessons. Good character benefits the student body and the school climate.
