With the unfavorable site assessment results in hand, and the knowledge that since the survey, NBCUniversal had rolled out an unpopular new compensation plan and was in the midst of merging the sales teams for NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 (NBC’s Hispanic market counterpart), the Executive Team at NBC DFW knew that they needed dedicated support to stabilize the sales team. Karen Delaney, Director of Human Resources at NBC DFW, reached out to Collective Growth to address what she and station management believed to be challenges with the sales department’s culture.
