Bybanen brand is more than a logo, it is a promise to make "an easier everyday life". Bybanen should always be uncomplicated, accessible and predictable. Phase 1: 9,8 km – 15 stops – 4 tunnels – open 2010

Phase 2: 3,6 km – 5 stops – 2 tunnels – open 2013

Phase 3: 6,5 km – 7 stops – 6 tunnels – 2016/17

• High potential for cycle traffic. Will result in Fyllingsdalen – Bergensdalen being within Løvstakktunnelen a normal cycling distance. 3000m 10min 36min • Attractive for recreation and pedestrians (experience from Lyon). More traffic = improved safety. Bybanen to Fyllingsdalen -Construction costs

Anticipated costs: ca 7,6 MRD kr (€ 760 000 000)

• Highest cost elements are tunnels, underground station at Haukeland filling in Store Lungegårdsvannet and depot at Spelhaugen

Included in cost estimate: • Everything necessary to build and operate Bybanen • Pedestrian and cycling facilities along the entire line • Replacement of parkland along Store Lungegårdsvannet • Complete cross-section of Kanalveien in Mindemyren, including new drainage works (canal) • Required moving/replacing of underground infrastructure • Urban open spaces along the line Bybanen to Fyllingsdalen: Zoning plan approved by Bergen City Council (21. June 2017)
