Dear Hobart Pop Warner Parents,

Welcome to Hobart Pop Warner’s 2020 season! As president of Hobart Pop Warner, I would like to extend an invitation to all Hobart youth between the ages of 5 and 15 to participate in our program. After a very successful season in 2019, we are anticipating an equally successful and exciting 2020.

As always, Hobart Pop Warner strives to make this the best organization it can be and we wouldn’t be able to do this without the help of all of our volunteers. Thank you in advance for again donating your time and talent to support Hobart Pop Warner during the 2020 season.

What to Expect in Your 2020 Season

First and foremost, our goal is to give your child the best experience possible, both on and off the field. The Board has been working hard throughout the off-season to ensure that 2020 is another successful season and positive experience for all involved. But, this is a team effort and we need your parental support. You will play a vital role in our season.

Our goal is to develop well-rounded young boys and girls who not only learn the fundamentals of football and cheer but also the important of education and teamwork. Once of our main goals is to ensure a high quality experience in which every athlete: • Has fun • Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance • Learns life lessons that have value beyond the playing field • Is coached using the principles of positive coaching • Stimulates their academic achievements through participation in our athletic program

Hobart Pop Warner is a 100% volunteer organization that develops positive values in our youth. We are committed to working to create a positive culture in which coaches, parents, athletes, fans, officials, and volunteers work together. Your participation is what makes a season successful.

I look forward to serving you during the next season. I make it a point to be available at the beginning of every practice for both football and cheer. Feel free to contact me with any comments or concerns.

I look forward to a great season!

Victor Martinez
