1. ABBESS MANOR HOUSE Abbess Roding Village Links to the history of Abbess Roding with strong connections to the nearby . One of only two large Victorian houses in the village. Large 19th century red brick house, under a clay tile roof. Tudor Revival style, brick chimney stacks prominent within roofscape. The village hall for the Abbess Roding was formerly situated within the grounds of the Manor House. Of historic and aesthetic value 2. Large red brick dwelling with Queen Anne revival influences, late 19th or early 20th century; former rectory to St Edmunds Church. Of historic and aesthetic value 3. OLD SCHOOL HOUSE Abbess Roding Village Original school which served Abbess Roding, 19th century red brick building under clay tile roof. Interesting feature are narrow paired openings (replaced) with brick divide. Building is altered by later additions. Of historic and aesthetic value 4. OLD SCHOOL HOUSE Beauchamp Roding, School Lane Small detached 19th century school building of brick and render, original school which served Beauchamp Roding. 5. WW II MILITARY BUILDING Matching Airfield, west of Anchor Lane American built wartime airfield 1943-45. Cohesive collection of WWII air defence buildings associated with the Matching WWII airfield. The group of locally listed buildings comes in two parts. To the north is the sick quarters dispersed site associated with WW2 airfield – consists of 2 Nissen Huts of the sick quarters and one Nissen which was used as the orderly's quarters. To the south is the mess site. This is substantially complete and currently used for light industrial use. The site includes Nissen huts, Romney huts, brick buildings and a water tower. This is a well preserved and complete dispersed site, which is rare. Historic significance is amplified when the site is considered as a whole. Of significant historic value.
