Better Grammar for Business

To be an effective communicator in English, you need to have good grammar. Especially in writing, when you don't have visual and vocal communication channels. This crucial workshop will develop awareness and grammar skills for business.

What you will learn On this one day workshop you will improve your awareness of grammar in a business context.

Manglish is a unique hybrid of English and the languages of which has developed its own vocabulary and grammar rules. Discover where Manglish and grammar come into conflict and how we can use each in a business context.

Grammar Terms Many people have no idea of the difference between a noun and a verb. Improving on grammar without any idea of the terms and terminology is not easy. Make a start here.

Verbs Learn about the verb and its different forms. What are the different verb tenses and how can we use verbs appropriately.

Nouns Nouns are a minefield for learners. Are they countable or uncountable, singular orplural? Why can’t we say ‘staffs, informations or advices?’

Self- learning You can’t learn grammar in a day, so this workshop will give you some tools to take away with you. Explore what your strengths and weaknesses are, so that you can strengthen your grammar in your own time.
