Whispering Winds Charter School Fills Niche in Public Education continued from page 3A that the two Levy County charter schools are stealing money from the school district. “I really understand the resentment the school board has for a lot of charter schools, but to say we’re stealing from the school district; the money follows the child. We’re not stealing money. We only getting what the school board gives us.” Whispering Winds serves grades Pre-K through 5th.
