Turlys 2018 Turlys Listen Indeholder TurLys 2018 TurLys listen indeholder: • Bådtype • TurLys med spiler / genakker • TurLys uden spiler / genakker • Sømiletid med spiler / genakker (ved vindstyrke mellem 4 og 8 meter/sekund) • Sømiletid med spiler / genakker (ved vindstyrke mellem 4 og 8 meter/sekund) TurLys (tid-på-tid beregning): TurLys er en tidskorrektions-koefficient, der ganges med sejltiden for at finde bådens korrigerede prale-/præmietid. Eksempler ved forskellige sejltider og TurLys: Sejltid x TurLys = Korrigeret tid 1:20:00 x 0,900 = 1:12:00 1:15:00 x 1,000 = 1:15:00 1:10:00 x 1,125 = 1:08:45 1:05:00 x 1,200 = 1:18:00 Sømiletider til beregning af respitstart (tid-på-distance beregning): Ved respitstart starter de hurtigste både sidst, så alle både kommer samlet i mål (hvis alle sejler lige godt). Sømiletider ved middelvind (4 til 8 meter/sekund) vises i kursiv som sekunder pr. sømil bane. Respittid = (Højeste sømiletid – Bådens sømiletid) x Banelængde Båd "A" (800 – 800) x 5 sømil = 0 sek. 0:00:00 (båd "A" med TurLys 0,900) Båd "B" (800 – 720) x 5 sømil = 400 sek. 0:06:40 (båd "B" med TurLys 1,000) Båd "C" (800 – 640) x 5 sømil = 800 sek. 0:13:20 (båd "C" med TurLys 1,125) Båd "D" (800 – 600) x 5 sømil =1.000 sek. 0:16:40 (båd "D" med TurLys 1,200) Respittiderne bør korrigeres ved sejlads i let og hård vind: • Ved vindstyrker på maksimum 4 meter/sekund ganges den beregnede respittid med 1,2. • Ved vindstyrker på minimum 8 meter/sekund ganges den beregnede respittid med 0,9. Hvis der er tvivl om vinden øger over 4 meter/sekund, eller falder til under 8 meter/sekund i løbet af sejladsen, benyttes sømiletiderne for sejlads ved middelvind. Individuelle TurLys Ved serier, for eksempel ugentlige sejladser i den lokale sejlklub, kan TurLys benyttes som udgangspunkt for individuelle handikap. Hvor ofte - og hvor meget - handikappene justeres, bør besluttes lokalt. Hvordan individuelle TurLys præcist skrues sammen, afhænger af lokale forhold, feltets størrelse mm. Det anbefales at sænke TurLys handikappene for de dårligst placerede, fremfor at hæve dem for de bedst placerede. F.eks. kan en sidsteplads i én sejlads udløse -0,010, og en næstsidsteplads -0,005 i TurLys ved næste sejlads i serien; herved bliver konkurrencen mere spændende for alle, i løbet af sæsonnen. Hvis single-hand sejlere dyster i felter med almindelige besætninger, kan der indføres et fradrag i standard TurLys; det er praktiseret i en årrække ved cruisingsejladserne under HSS' Sydfjordsstævne, hvor 0,010 er fratrukket standard TurLys ved single-hand sejlads. Tilbagemeldinger og opdateringer Bådtyper tilføjes løbende, og eksisterende TurLys justeres, når nye data fremkommer. Oplysninger og data for bådtyper mærket med ≈ i listen er særligt velkomne.
