In the first day of the competition pit stop is appointed in the following cases: -for controlling if the item of equipment is ready for route march; -for checking rightness of the protection equipment; -for checking is the weapon is ready for shooting; -in other cases tackled by field referee in case of prevention of emergency cases. Of their willingness to this inspection commander of repairing division of teams-participants declare with voice and simultaneous rising the hand. 15. In the second day of the competition pit stop is appointed in the following cases: -for controlling fullness of stripping of assault rifle; -for controlling if the item of equipment is ready for route march; -for checking rightness of the protection equipment; -for checking is the weapon is ready for shooting; -in other cases tackled by field referee in case of prevention of emergency cases. 5

About the preparing to these checking the commander of the team-participants report to the field referee with a simultaneously raising the hand. 16. On the third stage of the competition pit stop is made in following cases: -for checking if the upper row of multiple launching pod is completely or not; -for checking is the weapon is ready for shooting; -in other cases tackled by field referee in case of prevention of emergency cases. 17. On the fourth stage of the competition pit stop is made in following cases: -when misfire occurs; -in other cases tackled by field referee in case of prevention of emergency cases. 18. On the fifth stage of the competition pit stop is made in following cases: -for checking the anti-aircraft gun are stripped completely or not; -for checking is the howitzer, anti-aircraft gun and BM RSZO are ready for shooting; - in other cases tackled by field referee in case of prevention of emergency cases. 19. By the first and the second days of the competition is going out to the automobile track by the first team which is ready to go is made immediately after the field referee checks if it is ready to go, is made immediately after the field referee checks if it is ready to the route march. The second team begins moving by the road when it is needed with the command of the field refers after achievement by the first team fixed safe removal. In this case the second team is put on a pit stop before this moment. 20. A raised white flag of the referee is matched with a command: “AWARNESS”. That is a preparatory command which says that an early date followed of execution command. The lowering of the white flag means that soon will come a preparatory command: “WORKING OUT OF THE STANDARD START", "FORWARD". With firing of small weapons and close combat weapons raising the white flag means that all the targets are hit. Constantly raised the white 6 flag means that the command is at the pit stop. Short-term lifting and subsequent lowering of the red flag by the field referee indicates that the team made a mistake, and the firing of small weapons and close combat that not all goals are hit. Constantly raised the red flag means the common danger signal that the team has committed a violation of safety requirements or armament and military equipment withdrawn from the system so that the damage is not possible to continue execution of the contest events. At this command, the military personnel must stop, and when driving in the to stop. To raise the red flag has every field referee by his own and at the direction of the chief judge of the competition. About each raising the red flag field referee makes an entry in the protocol indicating the reason. The report of the commander of the repair department about the activities undertaken and readiness of the personnel to the next actions by the voice: "finish", and duplicated by a show of hands. 21. On breaking down of the main sample of weapons and military equipment during the next stage its replacement is allowed by a reserve sample. The change is performed at the command of the Chief Judge of the Competition by members of Competition teams not participating in it at this day. 22. The number of teams participating in the Competition at the same time in each stage is determined by the Chief Judge of the Competition depending on the total number of teams, weather conditions, the safety of participants and spectators and other circumstances. Starting numbers of teams are determined by drawing lots. Each team is given identification tags. 23. The participation of teams in some stages of the Competition is allowed. Defining the final places for the teams is made only for those teams, which have taken part in all days of the competition. 24. The team will be disqualified from the Competition stage if it creates an emergency situation that has led or could lead to injury or loss of life, damage to weapons, military and special equipment, the equipment site. Besides, the team is disqualified from the Competition stage in case of failing to overcome any 7 obstacles on the route. When removing the command from the Competition stage, it is assigned the last place in the number of teams participating in this stage. 25. Outfit of the competition participants: the military form of clothes, a protective helmet, a vest, a submachine gun, a gas mask. III. The Competition Program 26. The competition begins with the opening ceremony of the International Army games 2016 and the Competition "Master-Armourer". 27. During the Competition the following events start: competitive days, the preparation of teams, armament and equipment for the next stage of the Competition, studying of the Competition objects start, cultural and leisure activities. 28. The first stage of the Competition is "Contests on repair of the 122 mm towed howitzer D-30A"; determining the places for field maintenance squads (artillery armament). The team consists of: repair squad (of artillery armament). Military and special equipment (VVST): 122-mm towed howitzer D-30A, prime mover, workshop WRF-ARM, installed a crane boom, a spare barrel with recoil devices in the collection without the muzzle brake. Starting position: 122 mm towed howitzer D-30A is in a combat position, nearby there is a workshop WRF-ARM with two cylinders filled with compressed air or nitrogen, industrial tent of 4.5×4.5 m with fixed top flysheet. Truck for transportation of weapons is at technical position. Repair squad is located in front of the howitzer in single rank formation. Teams start simultaneously. On the signal of the Field Referee the repair squad puts the howitzer from the travelling position into the combat, check if the weapon is not charged and proceeds to the replacement of the barrel. Simultaneously is being removed the muzzle brake, the fence and the barrel installed in the holder of running-up gear breech and the recoil brake. The separation of the trunk is made using crane boom workshop WRF-ARM. After separating the barrel installed in the cage of the breech recoil devices placed on the two free technological stands. Then made the 8 mesh a spare barrel mounted with the wheel devices and transport it to the howitzer. After fitting the spare barrel on the gun the military personnel of the workshop section installs the fence and the muzzle brake takes the gun from combat to the stowed position. The penalty time is being appointed : - for not attached pieces after the barrel is replaced – 30 s for each piece. - For pieces’ falling down – 10 s for each piece.

Further, the military personnel of the workshop section prepares howitzer to route march. Before transporting the product is put in the four cases (one case for muzzle brake, one for mechanical scope, one for the breeze, one for the general covering). When ready the driver drives the tractor, and the personnel of the gears product. Readiness to March on the route of the circuit is determined by the field referee inspection trains. On the command of the field referee duplicated the commander of the workshop section, the staff performs fit in the car. The commander of the workshop section takes his place last, making a visual inspection of the body from the rear side, the entire staff took their seats in the vehicle. The workshop section performs a March along the route of the circuit length of about 4 km overcoming the snake on a plot simulating the action of incendiary weapons, land mines, corridor dimensions, the Ford, hillside, ditch with a rail bridge, the infected area putting it on and removing personal protective equipment, replacement wheel howitzers, a stop of the truck in the shelter, the overcoming of the hill (mound) with a stop on it, passing the overpass, the repeated overcoming of the hill (mound) in the truck trains without stopping, overcoming high-speed sections and rough road. When the March route workshop section with personal weapons is in the cab of the truck and on the loading platform. gun sighting apparatus of the howitzers are transported in the cab of a truck. During movement of the vehicle doors must be closed. For violation of this

9 provision penalty time 30 s. On arrival at the technical position of the workshop section after making the March to the military personnel of the workshop section unhooks the weapon and moves it from travel mode to armed position. Next is the search and elimination of malfunction in the receiver-bolt carrier group with complete disassembly and Assembly of wedge gate using the spare parts and accessories, the addition of recoil fluid in the recoil brake to established norms, installation of sighting devices, the preparation of ammunition to fire. Sealing of the recoil devices is produced without the use of the sealing device and the seals on the principle of "eight". The penalty time is being appointed: - For falling down of pieces – 10 s for each piece. - For incomplete stripping and reassembling the wedge – 30 s for each piece - For using an unaccounted ZIP – 60 s

Conduct firing tests of the repaired guns with verification of its functionality is done with single blank round at an elevation angle of 7-50 attached to the weapon by mechanical sight howitzers. When it is ready, the workshop section built a gun out of shot on the sliding parts, and the commander makes the shot, that is the end of the stage. In the event of delays in firing (misfiring) personnel identify the causes and eliminates them on the spot. In case of misfires is repeated windup and a descent hammer. In the second misfire, the case is extracted from the trunk in one minute and replaced with another. In each case misfires chief judge of the Competition makes the decision. If the shot did not happen for reasons Due to circumstances beyond the team, the time spent on re-production of the shot is subtracted from the actual time. If the shot was not the fault of the team members, the actual time is not changed. The penalty time is being appointed: - For falling down of the pieces – 10 s for each piece

10

- If the shot has not been made – 180 s - If the repairing troops stand in the range of the recoil pieces when the shot is being made - 60 s - For using an unaccounted ZIP – 60 s

The winner of this stage of the competition is determined by the conditional execution time of all operations, which is algebraically derived from the actual run- time transactions and the penalty time. The team is disqualified and wins last place: - for the staff presence in front of the panel board cover and in the bridge axis line of the recoil parts during the shot; - for a violation that caused or could cause the injury or casualty, weapon, military and special equipment damage and the range equipment. In case of a misfire the recurring bent and the incline slope of the drummer are repeated. In case of the second misfire the cartridge case is extracted from the barrel in one minute and is replaced by another. For each case of a misfire the chief judge of the competition makes the decision. If the shot did not happen for reasons beyond the control of the team, then the time for the repeated shot is subtracted from the actual time. If the shot did not happen for reasons of the team members fault, the actual time is not changed. According to the results of this stage implementation, the conditional time for each team of the competition and team place are calculated. The team with the best time is awarded the first, then the second, the third places, etc. 29.The order of overcoming the obstacles. Overcoming zigzag on a plot simulating the action of incendiary weapons need to get each column alternately with the right and left sides, not touching their car and transported by the product. When overcoming the zigzag the penalty time is being appointed: - For touching a pole with any part of the road train – 30 s for each touch; - Missing a pole when making a maneuver – 60 s for each miss;

11

Corridor clearance and land mines is overcome by movement through a narrow marked areas without stopping and touches the stops of the vehicle and the transported product. Plot minefields blanketing with smoke and is overcome with raised glasses and lowered the rear of the canopy. When overcoming these the penalty time is being appointed: - For touching the limiters with any part of the road train in overall passage – 30 s for each touch; - For touching the limiters with any part of the road train at the mine area – 45 s for each touch; - For moving with lowered panes or lifted rear tent at the mine area – 30 s

Overcoming the ford it is necessary to maintain a constant shaft speed of the engine; to enter the water smoothly on the lowest gear, not to go beyond the boundaries of the ford; not to make turns, rapid changes of rotation frequency of the engine shaft, switching of gear, the car stops. At the entrance and exit of the ford the field arbitrators are set out with hand flags for the fixation of the rules violations of emergency situations overcoming and preventing. All violations are fixed by raising a red hand flag. In the event of congestion and other reasons which prevent the ford overcoming of regular team, the field referee raises a red hand flag up at the entrance. After the removing of the stopping team cause the field referee at the entrance to the ford pulls up a white hand flag, turns to the direction of motion and extends his arm in the direction of motion at shoulder level – sends the command "March". When overcoming the ford, the penalty time is being appointed: - for stopping the car - 30 seconds; - for gear change - 30 s; - for going beyond the fords or the direction of movement - 30 s; - for rolling the machine into the water when leaving the ford - 30 s; for stopping the car engine - 30 seconds. The slope is overcome by the movement of the road train along the designated area of the obstacle, without touching (collision, knocking) of the limiters by the car 12 and the transported product. When crossing a moat with a track bridge, the penalty time is calculated: - for overcoming a moat with a track bridge without stopping the vehicle in front of the obstacle - 60 s; - for stopping the vehicle outside the designated section 30 s; - for stalling from the bridge bridge - 180 s. The hillside is overcome by the movement of trains on a designated area of the obstacles without snagging (hitting, beating) of the constraints of the vehicle and the transported product. The hillside is overcome by the movement of auto trains on a designated area of the obstacles without snagging (hitting, beating) of the constraints of the vehicle and the transported product. Ditch with a rail bridge is overcome by the movement of auto trains on a narrow tracking ruts with a mandatory stop before the obstacle. Entry must be made under an angle close to straight speed, providing a safe overcome the obstacle avoiding galloping and hunting. Infected area the team overcome in gas masks. After passing section is the special handling of the car and towed guns, as well as the removal of PPE. On arrival at the station the driver stops the car at the turn of the donning of personal protective equipment, puts the Parking brake and shuts off engine. The team with the PPE out of the car and line up in three steps in front of him. Squad leader making sure that all the branch is located in front of the car, gives the command for which the workshop section starts putting on gas masks. After donning gas masks, the squad leader by raising your hand sends a signal to the arbiter is ready to check position of gas masks. After this signal, the participants should correct PPE, equipment and weapons. After donning PPE, the field referee shall control the proper donning of gas masks. The team is on pit stop, and the time spent on inspection, the actual time is deducted. At the end of the test field, the referee raises the white flag. This command disengages the military personnel of the howitzer from the 13 truck and replace one wheel. At this time, the driver of the vehicle to the individual protection means continues to move independently of the infected portion with a stop in the shelter backwards, overcoming a single envelope, of a hill (mound) to the stop of the vehicle, overcoming the entrance of the overpass and comes back by a determined route to the place to change the wheel howitzers. With arrivals in the shelter is performed in reverse using rear view mirrors to the marked line. Feed- through and flyover a single envelope can be overcome without stopping the vehicle. When you overcome the hill (mound) without howitzers, the driver should stop the car on the hoist in the designated place, put the Parking brake, stop the engine, start the engine and pull away. When you аre overcoming of the hill (mound) in the trains stop on a hill (mound) is not performed. When these obstacles are overcome, the penalty time is calculated: - for touching the car with a single envelope or shelter walls - 60 s for each touch; - for stopping the car on a hill (mound) outside the designated area - 30 s; - for overcoming the hill (mound) on a tractor without stopping - 60 s; - for rolling down the car when starting from a place on the rise of a hill (mound) for a distance greater than the specified - 30 seconds. After the wheel change and the arrival of the truck the military personnel of the repair Department produces engagement howitzers for draw-bar. The willingness to continue the March on the route of the circuit is determined by the field referee inspection auto trains. The command field of an arbitrator duplicated the commander of the Department, the staff performs fit in the car. The commander of the maintenance Department takes his place last, making a visual inspection of the body from the rear side, the entire staff took their seats in the vehicle. When checking the readiness for a march, the penalty time is calculated: - for an unreliable connection or lack thereof in the connection of the pneumatic system, electrical cables, fixation of the coupling device, buckles on the covers - 14

30 s for each connection. After passing the infected area the driver directs the car to the platform- specific process. Moving the platform special handling, the driver must not exit the vehicle or towed gun for the dimensions of the platform and touches a stationary arched design. After processing the vehicle continues the movement until the turn of the removing of PPE. At the turn of the vehicle should be stopped, put on the Parking brake, engine off. The team is in the means of protection of respiratory organs out of the car, line up in three steps in front of him and takes off personal protective equipment. Squad leader, making sure that the whole team is in front of the car, gives the command for which the workshop section starts removing the masks. After removing and stowing masks squad leader by raising his hand sends a signal to the field referee about readiness for review. The team is put on pit stop. Field referee controls the lifting and laying of gas masks. Further field referee raising the white flag gives the command to get into the car and continued driving. The squad leader performs getting into the car the latest one, making sure that the military personnel took their seats in the vehicle exanimating body from the rear side. When overcoming an infected area of the area, the penalty time is accrued: - for traveling outside the frontier of putting on or removing personal protective equipment - 15 s; - for an unmuted engine when the team leaves the car and unused parking brake - 15 s; - if the team member corrected the personal protective equipment, equipment, weapons after the signal of the squad leader about readiness for verification - 15 seconds; - if the putting on (taking off) of gas masks was made before the command of the squad leader - 15 s; - the squad leader took his place in the car, not being convinced of the readiness of the personnel to continue the march - 15 seconds; - if gas masks are not worn - 60 per each participant; 15

- if the doors of the car are not closed while driving on the contaminated site, the car windows are not raised, the car rear side cover is not lowered - 30 s for each violation; - for touching an arch with a car or a towed implement - 60 s for each touch; - if the gas mask is not removed - 15 s for each participant; - if the gas mask is not packed in a standard bag - 15 seconds for each participant. Along the route every 100 meters there are field referees with white and red flags. The overrunning the roadway at least by one wheel of the prime mover or towed pieces is punished with a penalty time of 30s. When fixing the fact of this violation the field referee raises the red flag. The team withdraws from the competition and takes the last place in the following cases: - for the presence of personnel in front of the shield cover during a shot or with a loaded gun; - for violation, which led to injury or death of people, the disabling of weapons, military and special equipment, landfill equipment. Based on the results of the implementation of the activities of this stage, the conditional time of each Contest team is calculated, and on it the team place. The team that showed the best time is awarded the first place, then the second, the third, and so on. 30.The second stage of the Competition is "Contest on repair of 23 mm antiaircraft gun ZU - 23", determination of position for field maintenance sections (artillery and tank weapons). The team composition: repair section (of artillery and tank weapons) – 3 persons. MASE: 23 mm antiaircraft gun ZU - 23, prime mover, trailer, workshop WRF-ARM, with crane jib installed on it. Starting position: 23 mm anti-aircraft gun ZU - 23 with mounted sighting devices and accessories for blank shooting is on maintenance and repair ground in 16 firing position, workshop WRF-ARM, with crane jib installed on it, trailer, prime mover for transporting anti-aircraft guns are nearby.. The maintenance section is located in front of the anti-aircraft gun. Start for teams are simultaneous. On the field referee’s signal, the repair section personnel check the guns for the unloading, the separation of the trunks, removing automatic rifles from the cradle of the anti-aircraft installation and disassembling at the given number of parts. The completeness of disassembly controls the field referee or the referee during a pit stop. The end of the disassembly anti-aircraft machine is determined by the commander of the repair Department hand lift and duplicated field the referee hoist the white flag. The completeness of the dismantling of the machines controls the field referee or the referee during a pit stop. Penalty time is calculated: - for an unchecked test for unoccupied - 60 s; - for incomplete disassembly of the anti-aircraft gun - 30 s for each part; - for the drop of the part - 10 s for each part. At the end of these operations the workshop WRF-ARM pulls up to product ZU - 23 and conducted the compartment in the top of the machine with a cradle from the bottom. Then the workshop moves lifted the cargo onto the trailer with a stop at its original position and detached it. The initial position is denoted by the line marking surface repair of the landfill. Next, a repair shop in reverse without a load returns to its original position, and then moves to the trailer. The military personnel of the repair Department lifts the machine from the trailer and moves it to the anti-aircraft installation with a stop workshop to its original position. When maneuvering in technical positions each return the repair workshop to its original position are recorded by the field referee of the front wheels, which must be behind the line marking. The time of a stop of the vehicle determines the driver by himself or with help of other military personnel of the repair workshop. The fact of returning the car to its original position captures the field, the referee raise the white flag. When the workshop drives into or front wheels are on line 17 marking, the field referee raises the red flag. Each time before reversing the driver must give an audible signal. Then the driver returns the repair workshop to the original position, and the rest of the military personnel prepare mount cradles to the bottom of the machine, Assembly, 23 mm guns, setting them in the cradle of the anti-aircraft equipment with simultaneous tape with ten blanks. Penalty time is calculated: - for incomplete assembly of anti-aircraft installation - 30 s for each part; - for the drop of the part - 10 s for each part. - for the presence of servicemen of the repair department under the crane-arrows with suspended load, and also between the platform and the mobile repair shop is not allowed for security reasons. These violations are punishable by a penalty time of 60 seconds; - during maneuvering of the mobile repair shop, the impact or touching of the crane-boom guides, bumper and other items suspended by the load is not allowed for safety reasons. This violation is punishable by a penalty time of 60 seconds and can be fixed no more than twice when moving the workshop from the anti-aircraft installation to the platform and back. Further, the military personnel of the repair workshop prepares anti-aircraft guns to the March. Before transporting the product is put on three case – two cover to the flame arrester and cover the total cover. Readiness to March on the route of the automobile track is determined by the field referee inspection of auto train. Through the normal chain of command of the field referee of an arbitrator duplicated the commander of the workshop section, the staff performs fit in the car. The commander of the repair workshop takes his place at last, making a visual inspection of the body from the rear side, the entire staff took their seats in the vehicle. When checking the readiness for a march, the penalty time is calculated: for an unreliable connection or lack thereof in the connection of electrical cables, fixation of the coupling device, fasteners on the covers - 30 s for each connection. 18

The workshop section performs a March along the route of the automobile track on the length of about 4 km with overcoming the snake on a plot simulating the action of incendiary weapons, land mines, corridor dimensions, the Ford, hillside, slope, ditch with a tracked bridge. Overcoming the infected area is as follows: stop car, exit the military personnel of the workshop section, dressing personal protective equipment, landing of the military personnel in the car, overcoming a single limiting dimension, the overcoming of the hill (mound) with a stop on the rise, overcoming the entrance of the overpass, degassing of the tractor and anti-aircraft guns, the removal of personal protective equipment. At each stop, the engine should be muffled, and the car is put on parking brake. Again this hill (mound) surmount without stopping on it. During the March workshop section with personal weapons is in the cab of the truck and on the loading platform and loaded the tape will remain in technical positions. For 100-150 meters before the repair polygon, the failure of the tractor is simulated and further transportation of the product is made by calculation forces. To do this, the personnel of the repair department unhooks the anti-aircraft installation from the tractor, which remains in place. When rolling the anti-aircraft gun, it is necessary to overcome the area with artificial roughness of the road surface. For 100-150 m from the repair polygon simulated failure of the tractor and further transportation is carried out by crew members. For this purpose the military personnel of the workshop section unhooks anti-aircraft guns from the vehicle which remains in place. When rolling anti-aircraft guns need to overcome the artificial humps on the road surface. At the end of March on the technical position of the product is emplaced in the armed position, preparing for shooting and the loading machines 23 mm filled with blank ammunition. Readiness for fire is fixed by the field referee hoist the white flag. After firing, the workshop section is formed up behind the anti-aircraft guns. The end of 19 the stage is determined by the first shot. In case of delays in firing, military personnel identify the reasons and correct them on the spot. In the absence of a shot, the military personnel of the workshop section identifies the cause and fixes it. In each case the chief judge of the Competition makes the decision. If the shots did not happen to unavoidable circumstances of the team, the time spent on re-production of the shot is subtracted from the actual time. If the shot happened through no fault of the team members, the actual time is not changed. Penalty time is being appointed: - for non-made shots - 180 seconds. The winner of this stage of the Competition is determined by H-hour time of all operations that algebraically sum of the actual time of the actual time and penalty time. According to the results of the implementation of this step, calculate H-hour time for each team of the Contest and according to it - the place of the team. The team with the best conventional time is awarded first place, then second, third, etc. The procedure for overcoming obstacles and accrual of penalty time at this stage are similar to that previously described. The team is withdrawn from the Contest stage and takes the last place: - for conducting firing beyond the limits of the side forbidden zones; - for violation, which led or could lead to injury or loss of life, damage to weapons, military and special equipment, landfill equipment. The third stage of the Contest the Competition on repair of 122 mm combat vehicle of the Multiple Launch Rocket System BM-21 "Grad"” The team composition: repair section (of artillery and tank weapons) – 4 persons. MASE: 122 mm combat vehicle of the Multiple Launch Rocket System BM-21 "Grad" Starting position: on the technical position are mounted 122 mm combat vehicle of the Multiple Launch Rocket System BM-21 "Grad", a technological table for

20 spare parts, tools and accessories, prop for guideway. Next to war machine there is the military personnel of the workshop section (artillery), consisting of 4 members. After the command of the chief judge, the military personnel of the workshop section begins executing the exercise in the following sequence: first, remove the upper pairs of guides (10 PCs): - remove the front panel and the rear cowling; - turning off auxiliary contacts; - turn away nuts of tape securing the tube package; - removed the triangular dowel; - removed 10 guides of the upper row; - removable square dowels; - reassemble in the reverse sequence. Penalty time is calculated: - for an unidentified platform for loading the chassis frame - 30 s; - for the unbuttoned front trim and the rear casing - 30 s. for every detail; - for unbibed triangular keys - 30 seconds. for every detail; - for unbroken screws that fasten grounding jumpers to the pipes of the upper row, and not removed ground wire - 30 s. for every detail; - for unoccupied square keys - 10 s. for every detail; - for violation of safety regulations - 59 min. 59 sec. (disqualification) - for violation of the procedure for compliance with the standard - 30 seconds; - for the discrepancy between the number of parts on the table (108) - 10 s. for every detail; - for unidentified square keys - 10 s. for every detail; - for unstrung screws securing the grounding jumpers to the pipes of the upper row, and an unplanned ground wire - 30 s. for every detail; - for unfastened nuts for fixing the rail package-30 s. for every detail; - for an unspecified front cover and a rear casing - 30 s. for every detail; - for unfastened fasteners with a torque key - 10 s. for every detail; 21

First, using a Jack, the wheel of a car rises to get off the ground, unscrew the nut on the hub, removed the hub nuts, then with two members of the workshop section is removing the wheel, then in reverse order, installing the wheels. Penalty time is calculated: - for the lack of a wheel to the specified place - 30 seconds. for every detail; - for unfastened nuts - 30 seconds. for every detail; - for unfastened nuts fastening hose pumping to the tap - 30 sec. for every detail; - for undefined protection of the hose pumping the wheels in place - 30 seconds; - for unsuitable for the established place-jack - 30 s. After completion of repairs, in order to test the firepower potential of armored turret multiple artillery rocket system is conducted blank volley at an angle of elevation 7-50 and turn left on PPN 3-50. The field referee shall verify the readiness for shooting during the pit stop. By shooting all the munitions, the repair Department is built in line with their armored turret multiple artillery rocket system, at this stage of the competition ends. If during firing shots is not produced, the workshop section must repair to find and fix the problem of armored turret.

22

The team is removed from this stage of the Competition and occupies the last place: -for firing over the lateral border of the exclusion zones; -for a violation that led, or could lead to injury or death, damage of weapons, military and special equipment, the equipment of the landfill. 31. The fourth stage of competition “the Armory biathlon. Relay”, the definition of field maintenance sections (small arms and close support weapons). The team consists of: repair Department (small arms and close support weapons – 3 persons) and platoon commander. WWST: 5.45 mm Kalashnikov assault rifle AK-74 and 7.62 mm PKM Kalashnikov ; 40-mm antitank RPG 7V; 9 mm Makarov pistol (PM). Starting position: all participants on the start line in front of the stands. On the tables the 5.45 mm Kalashnikov AK 74 are laid out. Start of the commands is concurrent. The competition is held in the form of a relay. Transfer of the relay race is the touch any body part of another party that is recorded by the field referee hoisting the white flag. If you violate the order of transfer of the relay race the arbitrator commits a violation by rising the flag indicator, and the team is assigned a time penalty 30 sec. On the start signal flares first party completely disassembes the 5.45 mm AK-74 assault rifle. The procedure for disassembly is as follows: - check the weapon if it unloaded (separate the magazine, take the bolt carrier to the rearmost position and ensure that there is no cartridge in the chamber, pull the trigger, put the safety on); - remove the canister from the socket of the butt; - separate the cleaning rod; - remove the canister from the socket of the butt; - detach the cleaning rod; - detach the bolt with the bolt frame; - separate the bolt from the bolt frame; 23

- detach gas tube with hand guard; - disassemble the magazine (locking plate, spring, feeding device); - disassemble counterrecoil mechanism (guide rod, the movable rod, sleeve); - disassemble the bolt (striker, firing pin, extractor pin, the extractor with spring); - disassemble the firing mechanism (the autosafety lever, sear, hammer, firing spring, autosafety spring, trigger spindle, the retarding spring-loaded tubular axis); - detach the fore grip (fore grip lock, coupling sleeve, metal shield). The end of the disassembly is designated by the field referee hoisting the white flag. For each violation of the order of the arm disassembly a time penalty of 30 seconds is charged. A breakdown is set in the arm beforehand, this time - a broken autosafety device. After stripping the participant comes up to the SPTA table located 15 m from the place of stripping, takes properly functioning parts, returns back and assembles the 5.45 mm AK 74. Reassembling is done in reverse order. Then he arrives at the ammunition supply point, where he receives 30 rounds of 5.45 mm ammunition, loads 2 magazines with 5 rounds each and advances to the firing line for target shooting. Shooting is carried out with using a mechanical (open) sight, in short bursts. Single shot firing is not allowed, except for the last round in magazine. In case of violation, 10 seconds penalty time is charged for each single shot. The targets are placed on three firing lines. On the first line two life-sized figures are placed at a distance of 400 to 500 m (Annex 1) on the front of 6 to 8 m, which appear 2 times in 10 seconds. On completing target shooting on the first firing line the participant changes firing position. Then, shooting is conducted at two life-sized figures, which are placed on the second line at a distance of 300-400 m, on the front of 3 m, and moving at an angle of 15 25° to the plane of fire with a speed of 2 3 m/s for the space of 60 m. By the end of the shooting on the first border-line a participant changes the fire 24 point and with it the automative gun is put on the locking key. Then starts the shooting to two half-length figures, which are placed at the distance of 300-400 m in no less than 6 m. A training target on the further border-line is appears for 20 seconds, on the nearest border-line for 15 seconds. By the end of the shooting on the second border-line a participant changes the fire point. Then starts the shooting to the targets, which are placed on a third border-line at the distance of 200-300 m, the targets are two figures, a hand machine-gun and a breast-length figure at a front in no less than 6 m, which appear for 30 seconds. A change of a magazine is made by the participant by himself. When all six targets are shot, the rest of the ammo is shot away, then the shooting is stopped, the weapon is discharged and checked if it is discharged or not, then the gun is put on the locking key. When the 6 targets are shot the participants are sent to an ammunition point, get 5 rounds, charge one magazine with them and open accurate fire to a breast- length figure, which is placed against the third border-line. When the shooting is over, the weapon is put on the locking key, a participant runs to a change-over station, where he passes on the right to participate to the next member of the team. The participant passes on the relay to the next member of the team at the change- over station. If the participant does not strike all six targets with 30 rounds, he gets 15 additional rounds, charges one magazine with them and continues the shooting. If one of the six targets remains non-stricken after all of them are shown, then the participant must shoot away all the remaining rounds and then go to the ammunition point to get more rounds. If the non-stricken targets remain non- stricken after 15 additional rounds are shot, the participant gets additional rounds at the ammunition point again, charges one magazine with them and continues the shooting. When 30 primary and 30 additional rounds are shot, 30 seconds of penalty time for each non-stricken target are taken. Then happens a change-over to a next participant. Before this stage starts, a 7, 62 mm Kalashnikov’s machine gun PKM with a broken hammer-catch is put on a technological table. A second participant makes the change-over and begins a complete stripping 25 of the 7, 62 mm Kalashnikov’s machine gun PKM. The moment of the stripping’s end is defined by the field referее, who raises a white flag. After the stripping the participant goes to a table with ZIP, takes the fixed detail, gets back and makes the assembling of the machine-gun. For each non-taken detail the penalty time of 30 seconds is given. Then the participant arrives at the ammunition point of the small arms shooting area, gets and charges the band with 30 rounds for making the shooting. An order of the showing and striking the targets, number and order of using the additional rounds, accounting the penalty time are made analogically to the first stage. Then a change-over for a third participant at the change-over station happens. The third participant makes the complete stripping of 40-mm grenade launcher RPG-7B. At the starting point the grenade launcher, a tool for stripping and assembling of the triggering mechanism, key-screwer, knockout rod, threads, plasticine, a tool for alignment of the aiming tools. A target for the alignment is placed at the distance of 20 m. At the firing point a barrel with a plate for removing of the cardboard article of a starting charge after the first shot. A failure is left in the grenade launcher beforehand – a firing pin is broken. After the grenade launcher’s stripping a participant arrives to the table with ZIP, which is placed at some distance from the stripping place, takes a fixed detail, gets back and makes an assembling 40-mm RPG-7B. The moment of the stripping’s end is defined by the field referее, who raises the white flag. The assembling is made in an order, which is reverse to the stripping. When the grenade launcher is stripped, a belt with casings are not removed. Then an alignment of a rifle-scope PGO-7B is made to check aiming tools of the grenade launcher. By the alignment of the grenade launcher a holding of an alignment shield by another participant is allowed. When the scope alignment is over, the participant arrives to the ammunition point, where he gets an inert shot to strike an armored target. Another soldier from repairing division helps him to prepare the shot and charging of the grenade 26 launcher. The participant makes a shot from the fire border-line at the “BTR” target (app. 1), which is installed at a distance of 250-300 m. If the first shot is missed the participant arrives to the ammunition point again to get a second inert shot, then he does the shooting. If the second shot is missed, 30 seconds of penalty time is taken. The participant with the grenade launcher passes the relay to a fourth participant in the change-over station. The fourth participant makes the complete stripping of a 9 mm Makarov’s gun. At a starting position the gun and a wiper a placed on a technological table. The moment of the stripping’s end is defined by a field refery, who raises the white flag. A failure is left in 9 mm Makarov’s gun beforehand, an action spring is broken. When the stripping is over, the participant arrives to a table with ZIP, takes a needed fixed detail, gets back and then makes the assembling of the gun. If the stripping has been done incompletely, 30 seconds of penalty time for each detail is taken. Then the participant arrives at the ammunition point, where he gets 5 rounds and charges the gun with them. When he is ready, he goes to the firing point and shoots the full-length figures (app. 1) from a distance of 50 m, which appear simultaneously for 60 seconds. 30 seconds of penalty time is taken for every miss. A strike is indicated with its lowering. When the targets are stricken, the participants go the ammunition point again, get 5 rounds, charge a magazine with them and continue the accurate fire on a fifth firing point at a target with circles. When the shooting is over. A participant ends the relay in a specified place. A carrying of the gun to the firing point and back is done in a holster. If this rule is not obeyed 30 seconds of penalty time is taken. The shooting from all samples of small weapons and melee weapons is done from a standing position with all safety rules obeyed, also sacks with sand or ground may be laid at a shooter’s feet, when it is necessary. All carrying with small weapons and melee weapons is done after putting the weapon in travelling position, all bags, cartridge-pouches, casings and so on must be closed wrapped so that the weapons or the ammunition would not fall on the 27 ground. A winner of this stage of the competition is defined by a nominal time, which is the result of summarizing of a real time of an accomplishing of all operations and of the penalty time. The team is withdrawn from the Contest stage and takes the last place: - for the maintenance of fire beyond the side of exclusion zones; - for guiding weapons to the rear of the shooting range; - for violation, which led or might lead to traumatizing or loss of life, damaging of arms, special and military equipment and equipment of proving ground. The nominal time is counted by the results of all this stage’s events, and the nominal time defines each teams’ place, the team with the least time takes the first place and so on. 32. The fifth stage of the Competition is “Complex relay of repairing platoons”, identifying the winner and places for the repairing platoons. Four teams are invited to the final relay, which have taken sum. minimal number of places according to the results of all previous competition days. If some teams have equal sums of places, then a place in the final relay gets the team, which has got more first places active. If this is also equal then the place gets the team, which has got more second place and so on. If all mentioned is equal, then the place in the final relay gets a team, which has got a higher place in repairing the 120 mm tugged howitzer D-30 A. The team consists of 15 persons of an arming repairing platoon. VVST: 122 mm MLRS combat vehicle, 122 mm tugged howitzer D-30 A; 23 mm ZU-23 AD system; a repairing workshop MRS –APM; 5,45 AK-74, 7,62 Kalashnikov’s machine gun PKM; 40 mm hand antitank grenade launcher RPG-7B with an optical scope PGO-7B; 9 mm Makarov’s gun. Starting position. On the technological tables 5,45 mm AK-74, 7,62 Kalashnikov’s machine gun with PKM, 40 mm hand antitank grenade launcher with an optical scope PGO-7B and 9 mm Makarov’s gun are placed. The repairing division (small and melee weapons) stands near their tables. 28

The 23 mm ZU-23 AD system is installed at the repairing area on a first technical position, the three-person team squad of the repairing division stands nearby. The 122 mm MLRS combat vehicle, technological table with ZIP and trestles are installed on a second technical position. The four-person team squad of the repairing division (artillery) stands nearby. The 120 mm tugged howitzer D-30 A in travelling position, MRS-ARM with installed gib, a reserve howitzer barrel laid on the trestles are installed on the third technical position. The four-person team squad of the repairing division (artillery, second part) stands nearby. The order of the final relay When the field referee makes a signal, the repairing division (small and melee weapons) begins to strip the small weapons samples in a number described in this act. The moment of the stripping’s end is defined by the field referee, who raises the white flag. When the stripping of the last sample is over, the participant runs to the first technical position and then passes the relay on with touching of a repairing division’s participant’s hand. The repairing division (artillery and panzer weapons) begins the stripping of 23 mm ZU-23 AD system. The moment of the events’ end is defined by the field refery, who raises the white flag. With that signal a repairing division’s participant runs to the third technical position and passes the relay to a participant from the second part of the repairing division (artillery). When the stripping is over a used tool and a fastener must be gathered in a box, which is placed on the technological table. If this rule is not obeyed, 30 seconds of the penalty time are taken. After that the squad of the repairing division (artillery) detaches the barrel of the 120 mm tugged howitzer D-30 A with MRS-APM. The moment when the detaching is over is defined by the field referee, who raises the white flag. With that signal the participant runs to the repairing division (small and melee weapons) and passes the relay to the next participant with a touch of his hand. 29

The repairing division (small and melee weapons) begins the assembling of all small and melee weapons samples. Each soldier, when the weapon stripping is over, runs to the ammunition point, then charges the weapon at a starting point and goes to the fire border-line. With a field referee’s command the shooting starts. When missed, a soldier uses additional ammo in an analogical to the third day way and then passes the relay to the next participant. The last soldier passes the relay to a participant from the repairing division (artillery and panzer weapons). Participants with guns open an accurate fire. The repairing division (artillery and panzer weapons) simultaneously begins the assembling and charging of the 23 mm ZU-23 AD system. The moment when all assembling and charging are over is defined by the field referee, who raises the white flag. With that signal a burst of blank rounds is made. The repairing division’s participant (artillery and panzer weapons) runs to the second technical position and passes the relay to the next participant with a touch of his hand. The repairing division (artillery) makes the assembling of a packet of launching shoes in a reverse order and then goes to the 120 mm tugged howitzer D-30 A. With that a charging area and a mechanical scope’s support are not uninstalled until all operations are not over. The repairing division (artillery) makes a new howitzer’s barrel’s installation. The moment when the assembling is over is defined by the field referee, who raises the white flag. With that signal the howitzer is charged and a blank shot is made, which means the end of the final relay. A winner of the final relay is defined by a nominal time, which is a result of summarizing all operations’ time with the penalty time. The penalty time in the final relay is appointed in a same way as before in this Competition. 33. When the final relay is over, the handing of the VVST, preparing to a transportation and giving it to an organizing side, realization of culture events and a Competition’s closing are made. 34. The winner and awardees of the Competition are invited to a solemn 30 ceremony of the Army international games 2018’s closing. 35. Exact dates of the stages’ realization are being defined or may be changed by a decision of an artillery management of Russian Defence Ministry’s Head.

IV. The order of defining the winners and awardees of the Competition 36. The winners and the awardees of the Competition are defined by Competition’s committee’s decision by the nominal time of the final relay and the detected fouls. 37. When the final relay is over, the judging committee compares the results and the winner with the awardees are defined. V. Technical standards to VVST 38. To define if the VVST matches the technical standards, to define reasons of VVST failures, to solve disputable situations, to realize the technical and organizational suggestions a technical committee is made by a decision of the Head Judge of the Competition. 39.
