New service Supported by provided by What is the service? The Rural Links to Health & Wellbeing service is a new community transport service funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and delivered by Easilink Community Transport.

The aim of the service is to help people who do not have access to public transport or their own private transport to attend Hospital Appointments and other health appointments across the Western Trust area.

The new service will be delivered primarily by our volunteer car drivers, and we have accessible vehicles for those with mobility issues.

Who can use the service? Anyone who lives in the Easilink operational area (Omagh, Strabane and rural Derry/Londonderry) and does not have access to public transport or their own private transport can avail of the service. What is the cost?

New clients must register as an Easilink member in advance, in The subsidised fares are outlined below: order to avail of the new service. Unfortunately the service is not available to attend private 21-30 miles £7.00 £14.00 health appointments or Hospitals outside the Western 31-40 miles £8.00 £16.00 Trust area. 41-50 miles £9.00 £18.00

50 + miles £9 + 50p per mile Can a friend or family member travel with me? Yes, a friend, carer or family member can travel for free with the person attending the appointment.

Unfortunately this applies to one friend, carer or family member only – any additional passengers must pay the fare as outlined above.

How do I book? To register as a member and book a trip please contact your local Easilink Community Transport office.

When should I book? Bookings must be made at least 2 days before the date of your appointment.

N.B. we strongly advise that clients make their bookings as early as possible, as trips will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and are limited to our available resources.
