Payment under this option is by credit card only and entries close at midnight on Sunday 10 April 2016 OR Download and complete the entry form on www.hawkesburyshow.com.au and mail to PO Box 382, Richmond 2753 or deliver to the showground office at Clarendon. Under this option entries close at 4 pm on Tuesday 5 April 2016 DRESSAGE Junior - Saturday 16 April 2016 Associate - Sunday 17 April 2016 PRE ENTRY through: Online www.globablentriesonline.com.au and select Sport/Dressage option. Payment under this option is by credit card only and entries close at midnight on Sunday 3 April 2016 Schedules are available on www.hawkesburyshow.com.au, www.emmaswebsite.com.au or you can phone the show office on 4577 3591 for a printed schedule. HACK * RIDING * BREEDS Event Date : SATURDAY 16 April 2016 and SUNDAY 17 April 2016 Entry Fee: $5 per class How Do I Enter? All classes are pre-enter, by either of the following methods: 1 online at ‘www. globalentriesonlinecom.au’ - payment for entry fees and stable accommodation under this option is by credit card only (Visa or MasterCard). Receipt for entries can be printed by competitor on completion of entry process and a copy must be provided to HDAA if you are entitled to a ground entry concession or free ground entry ticket (see note in box below). Entries must be received by midnight Sunday 10 April 2016. 2 manually - complete Horse Section Entry Form, Risk Warning Form and Stable Request Form (if required), attach cheque or money order for the total entry fees, ENCLOSE A STAMPED, SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE (for return of indemnity wrist band) and mail to HDAA, PO Box 382, Richmond NSW 2753. Alternatively, you may bring your entries to the showground office. Entries must be received by 4 pm Tuesday 5 April 2016 at the HDAA office. NOTE! Enter 6 -11 classes (on either or both days) and you qualify for 1 x $12 ground entry ticket Enter 12 + classes (on either or both days) and you qualify for 1 free ground entry ticket You may also apply for HDAA membership: single membership for $35 which gives you entry on all three days of the show family membership for $70 (2 x adult tickets plus entry for member’s children aged 5-15) which gives you entry on all three days of the show. Application for membership must be on the Application for Membership form (download from website) and must be received by the Show office by 14 March 2016. Normal ground entry fees: Adult $24 Concession $12 Children 5-15 years $12 Children under 5 free IF ELIGIBLE FOR CONCESSION OR FREE GROUND ENTRY TICKETS: 1 Complete Horse Section Entry Form manually, post to show office, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with cheque for entry fee and Ground Entry Ticket, on receipt we will send the ticket(s) to you. 2 enter online through Global and print out a copy of your receipt - bring your receipt to the showground office between 9am and 4.30pm by the 12th April to collect your ticket, OR - mail a copy to HDAA, PO Box 382, Richmond NSW 2753 (to arrive by the 5th April to allow time for return post) together with a stamped, self-addressed envelope with cheque if required and we will send the ticket(s) to you. PLEASE NOTE THAT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE ALLOWED FREE OR CONCESSION ENTRY BY SHOWING YOUR CLASS ENTRY RECEIPT AT THE GATE ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION. All ground entry tickets are barcoded and volunteers manning the ground entry gates WILL refuse you free or concession entry if you only have your receipt - YOU MUST HAVE AN OFFICIAL GROUND ENTRY TICKET Property As from 1 September 2012, people with horses on their property need to Identification apply for a Property Identification Code – this is a bio-security measure. Codes (PICs) PICs are assigned to individual properties and allocated by Livestock Health and Pest Authorities who maintain the register. You may already have a PIC if you pay your rates to LPHA. Forms can be submitted online through www.lhpa.org.au. Every exhibitor bringing horses to the show will be required to list each horse being shown together with the PIC for the property from which it has come on the Waiver form before competing. Risk Warning Form For those who enter via ‘Global: Competitors and all additional riders, handlers and passengers (harness, heavy horse classes), form to be downloaded from HDAA website, completed and brought to the Horse Hut on the morning of competition for allocation of wrist bands. Alternatively you can bring completed forms to the showground office prior to the show. For those who enter on the Horse Section Entry Form: Signed Risk Warning form must be included with entry form and entry fee. Include a separate signed Risk Warning form for all additional riders, handlers, strappers and passengers (harness, heavy horse classes). Unable to Compete Refunds will be considered after the show, on receipt by the Show Secretary by 29 April 2016 of a DETAILED WRITTEN REQUEST stating the amount to be refunded, classes entered, accompanied by Veterinarian Certificate (Horse) or Doctor’s Certificate (Rider). In particular, please note rule 3.2 Competing riders MUST wear an approved safety helmet with the retaining harness secured and fastened. 2 Any exhibitor wanting to protest against a judge’s decision must lodge the protest in writing within ONE HOUR of the decision. The protest must be lodged with the HDAA’s Administration and Business Manager, together with a fee of $50 which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. 3 Stallions must wear a bit and be under the control of a competent handler aged 17 years or over at all times. Stallions are NOT permitted in classes unless specified. 4 No competitor or other person is permitted to enter the ring area and query a judge. All enquiries must be directed to the Ring Master or Chief Horse Steward. 5 All exhibitors must be able to produce an official measurement certificate if required. 6 Proof of current registration with the recognised relevant Breed Society or Association must be available on request. 7 Outside assistance to competitors by word, radio or any other method in Horse Ring Events will NOT be permitted. If in breach of this ruling, competitors and their exhibits may be dismissed from the event and from the Showground. Competitors’ names will be submitted to the ASC. 8 ALL competitors, including handlers, strappers, carriage passengers, must complete a ‘Risk Warning’ form as part of the entry process and display the allocated wrist band on competition day when inside the arena. Only competitors, attendants and officials will be allowed in the arena. 10 Dogs are NOT ALLOWED within the show ring. In other areas dogs must be on a leash. 11 Mounted stewards have the authority to control horse activities in the Show ring. Failure to comply with directions issued by the mounted stewards may result in forfeiture of entry to subsequent classes on the day and/or refusal of entries the following year.
