3 , What s On Good old dayS FESTIVAL PROGRAM Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 7.30am: Bush breakfast featuring the Back Block Bards 9am: Ring events start, demonstrations of horse drawn implements. 9.30am: Furphy re-barrelling demonstration 10am: Scone making, cooking all day, cow milking, milk separating, butter churning, petting ring, entertainment by Stickie Fingers, market stalls, barbecue and hot food, camel rides, blade shearing, working dogs, dog high jump, blacksmith forge, whip making, whip cracking, rope making, bullock teams, wool spinning and coach rides. 10am: Ploughing competition (Sunday only) 10.30am: Horse drawn harvester on the crop area. 11am: Official opening by Member for Steph Cooke (Saturday) 11am: Bar opens serving Barellan Beer on tap 11.30am: Camel races – heat 1 12 noon: Ploughing and wool loading in the ring. Sheaf toss – juniors. Light lunch served in the pavilion. 1pm: Grand parade and Tribute to the Teams lap of honour in the ring. 1.30pm: Petting ring.
