Previously, had dubbed her "the world's greatest radio actress ." In theater, she had suffered her share ST.EDWARD'S UnlUERSITY of flops but was rewarded by a most successful season in the demanding role of Martha in '' Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" on Broadway. She recently recreated that role for Houston audiences. DepartmentofFine and Performing Arts For her widely-acclaimed role in "" as the voice of the D emon, Miss McCam ­ PRESENTS bridge disciplined herself to think evil, imagining Lucifer and the agony of a lost soul to produce the devilish sounds which magnify the movie's horror. She was bound with a sheet at one point in the production to convey effectively the wails of the devil. " She travels some 70,000 miles a year and has appeared in theaters and auditoriums in nearly every state . She performs in recital on the univer sity circuit and maintains that this activity is her "favorite thing ." In television , she has made guest appearances BY on all of the top-ranking shows and has completed several feature length films for TV , in­ cludi ng "Like a Crow on a Junebug, " shot in the swamplands of Georgia .
