Where: Univ. of Evansville’s Braun Stadium Univ. of Southern Indiana’s Baseball Field

Purpose: To provide instruction and expose campers to what is necessary to play at all levels of college baseball

Head Coach Dave Schrage Coach Schrage just completed his 2nd year at the Univ. of Evansville. The Purple Aces qualified for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament for the first time since 2001, finishing with a 28-32 record. Coach Schrage has the distinction of being a former MVC batting champion, while attending Creighton Univ., as well as being a two-time MVC Coach of The Year while at the Univ. of Northern Iowa. In addition, while under Schrage’s guidance, Luke Miller captured the 2003 MVC batting crown. Coach Schrage played professionally for one year in Australia.

Head Coach Mike Goedde Coach Goedde just completed his 11th season at the Univ. of Southern Indiana. He is USI’s all-time winningest coach with a career record of 314-266. Prior to moving over to USI, Goedde was an assistant at his alma mater, the Univ. of Evansville. He was a UE standout from 1980-83 and was drafted in the fourth round of the 1983 draft by the Cincinnati Reds. In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Goedde was a pitching instructor with the Reds’ Pioneer League team in Billings, Montana during the 1989 season.
