Evansville’s defense kept Bowling Green from getting off a three-pointer, and the Falcons’ last possession finally ended with a layup by Lauren Prochaska with five seconds left to make it 63-62. UE had no trouble getting the ball inbounds following the basket, and the Aces had their victory secure.

UE hit eight of 11 three-point attempts in the first half alone, and finished 11-for-18 from behind the arc. Six Aces hit from three-point range, led by three each from Lewis and Bamberger. Chelsea Falkenstein led Evansville with a near double-double, 17 points and nine rebounds, Lewis scored 13 and Gillum added 12 in her Evansville debut. Prochaska scored 17 to lead the Falcons.
