TICKETMASTER Benefits Made Possible by VenuWorks VenuWorks National Contract with Live Nation – Ticketmaster • Bloomington will have its own Licensed User Agreement with TM • TM will provide all hardware, equipment and software free of charge • Total access to TM’s digital marketing support • City will receive 40% of all customer service charges • Ability to set variable service fees to fit the occasion and price of the ticket • Dynamic pricing • Ability to add promoter bump TICKETMASTER Digital Marketing Partnership Connecting with fans through broad digital marketing COI’s: Contractually Obligated Incomes • Naming rights • Display advertising • Marquees • Pour Rights • Event Sponsorships COI’s: Contractually Obligated Incomes Some of Our Naming Rights Partners • Toyota Center, Kennewick, WA • Alerus Center, Grand Forks, ND • Sanford Center, Bemidji, MN • Swiftel Center, Brookings, SD • Ames Center, Burnsville, MN • US Cellular Center, Cedar Rapids, IA • Ford Center, Evansville, IN • McGrath Amphitheater, Cedar Rapids, IA • Toyota Arena, Kennewick, WA FOOD & BEVERAGE: Transition • Investment in concession stand equipment • VenuWorks F&B Team will work to insure seamless transition. • Secure permits and liquor license • Make detailed equipment plans • Staff assessment and hiring as needed • Meet with clients – honor all existing F/B contracts and commitments • Transition team onsite to insure all service, equipment, support and logistical needs are met during transition • VenuWorks hiring and service compliance training PROPOSAL: Management of US Cellular Coliseum and Pepsi Ice Center • Contract Term of Five Years – Ready to start April 1st! • “Safe Harbor” termination option at the end of third year • Renewal option for five more years • To Be Provided by VenuWorks: • Maximum programming for maximum revenues • Interest free loan for Food/Beverage equipment with five year amortization (unamortized balance payable upon early termination • Concessions operation yielding profit of 40% of gross standard F/B sales • Ticketing contract yielding the City • 40% of all revenues from customer service charges • Free ticketing hardware and software • COI Revenues exceeding previous amounts, including Naming Rights • Total Transparency in Administration, Accounting and Operations • Responsibly managed operating expenses PROPOSAL: Management of US Cellular Coliseum and Pepsi Ice Center • Revenues/Expenses • All operating revenues and expenses accrue to the Venues • Requested Fee Structure • Base Fee of $9500 per month ($114,000 annually), increasing annually with CPI • Food/Beverage Commission equal to 5% of gross F/B sales monthly • Sales commission equal to 5% of COI sales secured by VenuWorks • Total annual commissions not to exceed base fee • Disincentive – Commission Fees at Risk • VenuWorks‘ commissions will be subject to the Venues achieving the annual budgetary goals mutually established by City and VW for each year. • VenuWorks will refund to the City its F/B and sales commissions to offset any financial shortfalls, up to 100% of the commissions earned in that year.
