OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR/QUARTERBACKS COACH Football

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, an NCAA Division I member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is seeking an outstanding individual who meets the following qualifications for the position of Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach: Bachelor’s degree required as well as significant and successful experience in coordinating offensive units, including managing all assistant coaches and student-athletes on the offensive side of the ball. The offensive coordinator will be charged with the responsibility of developing general offensive game plans and calling the plays for the offense during games. The incumbent will additionally be charged with serving as a position coach for quarterbacks, and will represent the second level of command structure, along with the defensive coordinator. The incumbent will assist the head coach in all facets of the football program as he works to develop a quality NCAA FCS program that will be competitive within the Southwestern Athletic Conference on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Specific responsibilities of the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach will include, but not be limited to: recruiting qualified student-athletes for success participation; developing an annual offensive playbook and teach progression; developing scouting reports; managing film sessions and meetings for all offensive positions; and assisting with monitoring the academic progress of assigned team members. The offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach must have a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and must pass the NCAA rules test. He must demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession.
