Coach Miller’s coaching Bio

Since arriving at West College in 2008 more than 150 players have transferred to four-year universities. In the past three years thirty-five former players have received their bachelor’s degrees from four-year universities. Dating back to 2008 the football team has maintained an overall team grade point average of 2.5 during each football season. Also, during such time fifteen players have been added to the All-Academic State Team. On the field the past seven seasons the has averaged 33.4 points per game (43.1 in 2014) including a state record for points in a game: 83!

Coach Miller has coached various positions at several schools since 1992 when his coaching career began.

San Antonio College (Offensive Coordinator) 2005- East Los Angeles College (Offensive Coordinator) 2006-2007- Pasadena City College (Offensive Coordinator) 2008-present- (Head Coach) During such time numerous All-Americans, All-State, All-Conference, players to accompany hundreds of four-year players (many who have earned their college degree).

Coach Miller has won a National Title, State Title, Conference Titles, and Bowl Championships. Also, he has coached several players that have either won, appeared in as a player or coach in a . Nationally, his players have broken national records; David Pittman most completions in a season (303) and David Reed most receptions (111) and most receiving yards (1,661) in a season. Also, Pittman led the nation in passing with 3,662 yards. On the state level his offense and players have broken four state records: points in a game (83), completions (Pittman 303), receptions (Reed 111), and receiving yards (Reed 1,661). On two separate occasions his have lead the state in passing yards per game (Pittman 366.2 and Dallas Lopez 340.1). Coach Miller has coached four different college offenses to lead the conference in both total offense and points in the same season (West LA, Mt. Sac, East LA, and Pasadena City). His Pasadena City College offense holds the Mission Conference record for total offense in a season. There has been 15 top 20 finishes in total offense for the state of California. Known for his unique offensive style Coach Miller has sold books, Dads, and been a guest speaker at several coaching clinics.
