“We’re All Mad Here” Throughout this election year I feel as if I have said the above line more than once, and since starting work on this show I have obviously been seeing and saying that line even more often in the last month! However, in facing what we are facing as a nation with this monumental election, it has been a breath of fresh air to work on Alice with a political twist. My hope for you as an audience is that you are able to enjoy a childhood classic while also being able to escape from reality and the intensity of the campaign ads. Coming “home” to Cedar Crest is a dream come true for me. I began my theatrical career at Cedar Crest as a bright eyed freshman in American Beauty and had the incredible honor of performing as Daisy Hilton in Side Show my senior year, with many shows in between. In addition to an amazing education in Social Work and Psychology, The Manhattan Project I was also able to find who I was as an individual on this stage and continue to develop and hone my skills as a performer and director.
