These Open Canadian Canoes are much like the one American Indians used to paddle. Each boat takes up the three paddlers and they are a great way to travel and see the lake and share the experience with friends. This activity can be used to gain BC awards and complete GCSE Syllabuses
KATA KANU

Kata Kanus are similar to two Canadian Canoes rafted together. Each Kata Kanu can hold a maximum of 5 Participants. These boats are extremely stable and are great fun. This is an excellent activity for special needs groups.
DRASCOMBE SAILING (suitable for non-swimmers)

This stable boat can allow groups of students to enjoy the experience of sailing as a Team. Students will learn how to steer the boat and trim the three sails to ensure The boat sails efficiently. DRAGON BOATS

RAFT BUILDING

SCULLING

We have 10 single person sculling boats and three five-person sea-going quads, Four scullers and one cox. These bats are suitable for all abilities, but especially beginners. The session will build water confidence and develop sculling skills, with plenty of fun and game. This activity would make an ideal rolling programmes for after school clubs or to achieve an award. SAILING

HOAC has a wide range of sailing dinghies with RS Teras for the younger Sailors and Picos for the older ones. It is a great way to have fun and learn new skills. This activity can be used as a one off taster session or to gain RYA awards over 6-8 sessions.
WINDSURFING

This is one of the most exhilarating water sports around. Modern boards and sails have revolutionised learning to windsurf. Taster sessions focus on having fun with board games on the water, followed by step- by-step tuition on our land-based simulator and then practising afloat. This activity can also be used to gain RYA or NSSA awards.
WOBBLE BOARDS
