Re: 2020 Special Events at Lake Ming

The purpose of this memo is to notify you of the special event dates scheduled for Lake Ming in 2020. The lake will be closed for public use during these events and partial closure for one or two days prior to the event so the organization can set up. The events and dates are as follows:

Fire on the Mountain Productions - Car & Show

• Cancelled: October 31, 2020 (partial closures for set-up date October 30, 2020, and take-down date November 1, 2020)

National Jet Boat Association (NJBA) – Jet Boat Races

• Cancelled: March 21-22, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are March 18-20, 2020, and take-down date March 23, 2020)

• Cancelled: April 18-19, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are April 15-17, 2020, and take-down date April 20, 2020)

• Cancelled: May 16-17, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are May 13-15, 2020, and take-down date May 18, 2020)

• September 19-20, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are September 16-18, 2020, and take-down date September 21, 2020, the bike path access and circulation may be closed or limited during this event.)

• October 17-18, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are October 14-16, 2020, and take-down date October 19, 2020, the bike path access and circulation may be closed or limited during this event.)

• November 7-8, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are November 4-6, 2020, and take-down date November 9, 2020, the bike path access and circulation may be closed or limited during this event.)

Bakersfield

• Cancelled: October 10-11, 2020

Lake Ming Regatta - Southern California Speedboat Club

• Cancelled: March 14-15, 2020 (partial closure for set-up date March 13, 2020) • October 1-4, 2020 (partial closure for set-up date October 1, 2020, beginning at 3pm, the bike path access and circulation may be closed or limited during this event.)

Kiwanis Paddle Race Festival

• Cancelled: June 26-28, 2020 (partial closures for set-up dates are June 24-25, 2020, and take-down date June 29, 2020)

Judgement Day Half

• Cancelled at Lake Ming: October 10, 2020 (partial closure for set-up date October 9, 2020)
