DFW and beyond encompasses 32 rich and diverse counties that offer just about anything you could want from bustling urban centers to historic downtown squares. Enjoy world-class museums, shopping venues, live entertainment, amusements parks, and more! We selected Irving as the tournament city because it’s right smack dab in the middle of everything.

If you’re a thrill seeking roller coaster junkie, you are a short 20 minute drive from Six Flags Over Texas. Six Flags amusement park features more than 100 thrilling rides, shows, and attractions including the adrenaline-filled Titan, Mr Freeze: Reverse Blast, and the New Texas Giant roller coasters. Don’t forget to check out neighboring Hurricane Harbor water park, the perfect destination for a little fun in the sun.

If you have a day to explore, consider venturing west to Fort Worth. Fort Worth is the home to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. This living museum pays tribute to Fort Worth’s Wild West heyday with daily cattle drives and plenty of restaurants serving up cowboy cuisine. Guided walking or Segway tours are available or hop a ride on a stage coach! While you’re there, also check out the Stockyards Museum, Stockyards Station, Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Cowtown Cattlepen Maze, or ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. On your way out don’t forget to stop by Billy Bob’s Texas - the World’s Largest Honky Tonk!

If you love gorgeous plants, meticulous landscaping, and the scent of flowers in the air, then you are in for a treat. The metroplex has multiple beautiful botanical gardens. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden has a Japanese garden that is a must see! Dallas has so many gardens you could spend an entire day looking at the beauty of nature.
