Nick Hogan of Reel Metrics postulated that “slot floors are grossly over-diversified” and horribly unbalanced. Earlier this month, Eilers & Krejcik went a bit further, issuing a quarterly column called “The Case to Reduce Slot Floor Diversification.” Eilers & Krejcik is looking at data from 184 casinos and almost 200,000 slots (that is, when they’re all turned on again). Reel Metrics' counts have similar numbers, and few of their metrics, if any, overlap with Eilers & Krejcik’s. Therefore, their conclusions are almost undeniable. “The typical casino had 219 distinct themes just for their Core Video Reels. Interestingly, only 3% of these unique games do at least 2x Zone averages. This make one wonder if operators are carrying enough of these high performers on their floor at the expense of floor share of themes that underperform.” Moore’s report also highlights the need to increase your share of the stronger games. He cites some specifics: “‘Buffalo Gold’ performs 2.2x versus Zone and 2.3x versus House. Despite unmistakable performance, about 50% of operators only carry one bank. Grassick provided an overview of the Compass Crime results year to date (Jul 2017-Oct 2018) for the Central West Police District. Since the amalgamation of the Canobolas and Lachlan Commands the targets for each crime category are considered high and the new Central West District is negotiating to reduce the targets in some areas. In relation to Crime targets results as at the end of October, the following categories did not met the targets: • Robbery – 13 incidents year to date (YTD), 8 above the target. Incident occurring mainly in Orange. • Break and Enter (Non-Dwelling) - 89 incidents YTD. There was a recent increase of incident in Forbes with a number of Churches being targeted however this issue has now decreased (12 occurring in September and 3 in October).

In particular, it examines control charting and syndromic surveillance methods, and explores how useful they are likely to be in dealing with typical biosecurity disease and pest surveillance. If focuses on disease detection, and methods for optimising surveillance networks and robust methods for minimising levels of inspection. This work provides a proof of concept of these approaches. The case studies, while based on real contexts, are intended only to be illustrative. If the tools are considered to be potentially useful, the next stage would involve development of specific applications to trial their utility.     Local plumbing regulators in NSW On-site plumbing and drainage compliance and inspections This document outlines who performs the functions of the plumbing regulator in NSW. Under the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2011 NSW Fair Trading is the plumbing regulator in New South Wales. The Plumbing Code of Australia is the technical standard for compliance throughout NSW. It is the responsibility of the plumbing regulator in each area to set requirements for inspections of on-site plumbing and drainage. Fair Trading’s area of operation includes all areas in which properties are provided with services (either drinking water, recycled water or a sewerage service) by Sydney Water Corporation or Hunter Water Corporation. This area of operation stretches from Gerringong in the south (the Illawarra), to Newcastle, Port Stephens and Dungog in the north (the Hunter), and west to Mount Victoria (Blue Mountains). The function of the plumbing regulator has been delegated by Fair Trading to local councils, county councils, or other qualified bodies. The delegation of the function has been accepted by local and county councils across NSW, with a small number of exceptions where the council declined the delegation.
