This report aims to build on the 2015 “Cheadle Town Centre Transport Study” (Phase 1), and further assess the characteristics of the existing highway network across the town to identify the locations and routes that will be affected by the revised housing and employment land provision. Evaluation has been provided on what impacts the resultant traffic increase has had on journey times, queueing and delay within the town; and mitigation measures have been suggested, in order to remediate the adverse effects brought about by the increase in vehicular trips through the town centre.
