In the suspense thriller Misconduct, IMTA alum Josh Duhamel stars as an ambitious young lawyer who takes on a big case against a powerful and ruthless executive of a large pharmaceutical company. He soon finds himself involved in a case of blackmail and corruption, framed for a crime he did not commit and a fugitive on the run. Veteran actors and also star, alongside Malin Ackerman, Alice Eve and .

Duhamel has worked practically non-stop since competing at IMTA. Starting as a model (he was the NY97 Male Model of the Year), he then appeared on daytime drama in “All My Children,” starred in primetime television on “Las Vegas” and “Battle Creek,” and become a feature film star with Win a Date with Tad ! and the Transformers series.

Asked about his career and how he felt about starring in a feature film with acting legends Pacino and Hopkins, Duhamel expressed his gratitude for the experiences he has had. “It’s taken me a while to get here and I’m glad it has. I feel like there’s still a lot to do.” He added, “This movie was a real opportunity for me to work with two guys I’ve always really loved, and I’m really happy with the movie.”

Duhamel said making Misconduct was a great learning opportunity. “I really just wanted to carry my weight and try to tell the truth as much as I could with [my character] and what he was going through. At the end of the day…it was about telling the truth, and making the best film we could. And that was really what my job was in this movie.”

Duhamel also stars in Hulu’s limited event series 11.22.63 that is based on ’s best-selling novel. The thriller follows high school history teacher Jake Epping (played by ) as he travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Duhamel plays against type as Frank Dunning, the father of one of Jake's students, in 1960s Kentucky. The Hollywood Reporter described Duhamel’s character as “the rakish town butcher, a ladies' man with an effortless smile that everyone welcomes — except Jake, the only man who knows the full violence of which Frank is capable.” , T.R.
