AEP’S 2021 SUSTAINABILITY ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD (SASB) REPORT 2021 SASB Report

The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) voluntary reporting framework is used as the basis for sustainability reporting across multiple sectors. The SASB framework is designed to enable disclosure of company data and information in a manner that makes it decision-useful for investors and comparable with other companies within a given sector. This year marks AEP’s second year mapping our disclosure to the SASB Standards for Electric Utilities & Power Generators. Our response reflects year-end 2020 performance data. Our SASB report is mapped to our comprehensive 2021 Corporate Accountability Report and ESG Data Center – which serves as our foundation for all sustainability and ESG-related reporting.
