Bis heute ist ihre Geschichte nicht geschrieben. Eine präzise Zusammenfassung der Ereignisse, die auf eigenem Erleben, lebenslanger politischer Erfahrung und einer genauen Auswertung der Lokalpresse beruht, hat Altbürgermeister Viktor Wallner 1995 in seinem Überblickswerk „Russen, Bäder und Casinos“ geliefert.1 Die ersten Wochen und Monate nach dem Kriegsende hat Christoph Wieser in den Katalogblättern des Rollettmuseums, ebenfalls 1995, nach den damals zugänglichen Quellen im Detail nachgezeichnet.2 Einen interessanten Überblick über die Probleme Badens in der Besatzungszeit bietet die gehaltvolle und übersichtliche Diplomarbeit von Vero- nika Weninger im Rahmen einer Untersuchung über die Badener Zeitung.3 Wertvolle Einblicke gibt auch Hans Meissners große Kollmann-Biographie.4 Und das ist auch schon alles, was es an einigermaßen Zusam- menfassendem gibt. Einleitung II Ein Quellenlesebuch zum Thema „Besatzungszeit in Baden“ Auch die vorliegende Broschüre, so umfangreich sie geraten ist, ist keine Geschichte der Besatzungszeit Badens. Sie ist vielmehr als Quellenlesebuch zu den wichtigsten Themen der Zeit konzipiert. Als „wichtigste Themen“ habe ich die aufgefaßt, die immer wieder zur Sprache kommen, wenn unsere Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger über „die Russenzeit“ sprechen.
