While she is also a licensed Kindermusik educator, her most important job is being a wife to her husband Michael and a mother to her 6 children. Martin attended high school at Koinonia Academy in Warren, NJ and then Franciscan University of Steubenville. He began to use his musical talent to lead worship and recorded his first album, Praying Twice, before graduation. After graduation, Doman married and began to raise a family. She fled to Miami with her family at age 10. She attended Catholic schools but considered herself a “Sunday” Catholic and later gripped was gripped by materialism. She knew something was missing in her life. Maria was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1987 and consecrated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the preaching of the Gospel. In spite of great adversity, the Lord has been with her like a “mighty warrior” (Jeremiah 20:11). Maria is the mother of four: Ricky, Victor, Eddy and Rosario. Maria is active in the “Catholic Charismatic Renewal” of the Archdiocese of Miami, “Jesus is Lord” chapter of Magnificat in Miami, “The King Jesus Prayer Group,” the Miami Women’s Detention Center and Genesis House, a home for the homeless with AIDS (presently closed). Maria leads a weekly bible class, “Healing Through The Word,” in her parish of St. Louis Catholic Church. She has authored three books; “There is Power In Your Tongue,” “Pressing On In The Spirit” and “An Arrow In His Hand.” Questions for Reflection and Journaling 1. Do I have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? 2. How much hunger do I have for His Word? 3. How is the joy of the Lord manifested in my life? SR. LINDA KOONTZ, S.N.J.M. Sister Linda Koontz has been a sister of the Holy Name of Jesus and Mary since 1960. She spent eight years teaching religion in Washington State before being propelled by the Lord into her dynamic ministry. In 1971, Sister began serving full time in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal with great faith-filled power. (As a faithful disciple of our Lord Jesus, Sr. Linda has truly gone “out into the world” to share the Good News. She is in constant demand and has ministered her powerful gifts of knowledge and healing in numerous countries. Always present in her ministry is the life-giving word of God bringing renewal to the hearts and minds of all who hear her.) At present time, Sister Linda is based in El Paso, Texas and ministers to the poor in Juarez, Mexico through the outreach: “The Spirit of the Lord, International Mission.” Evangelization, healing and a zealous love for the poor are the gifts that she brings to the body of Christ. Questions for Reflection and Journaling 1. The experience at Pentecost in the early church, is for TODAY and for EVERYONE. How do I recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit in my every day life? 2. How have I said YES to the Holy Spirit in my life? 3. How have I experienced the gifts of the Holy Spirit in my life? Am I open to receiving more?
