SIDDESHWARA: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Government has approved an extra 313 km. of metro lines involving nine cities across the country; (b) if so, the details thereof; (c) whether a total of 537 km. of metro tracks are under construction and if so, the details thereof; (d) whether the Government has increased the budgetary provisions for metro projects to speed up metro expansion; and (e) if so, the details thereof?
