CÍLE Cílem této metodiky je ukázat význam světlých lesů pro zachování biodiverzity, současný stav světlých lesů, metody péče o světlé lesy a možnosti jejich obnovy. Zároveň metodika čtenáři poskytuje informace umožňující na světlé lesy nahlížet v kontextu dlouhodobého vývoje evropské přírody i mnohem krátkodobějšího vývoje krajiny na území naší republiky. Světlé lesy jsou biologicky mimořádně bohaté ekosystémy. Hostí biotu hustého lesa i bezlesí, ale také unikátní biotu, která na světlých lesích plně závisí a která zahrnuje mnoho známých a zákonem výslovně chráněných organismů. Světlé lesy vznikly působením přirozených faktorů jako jsou velcí herbivoři, oheň, říční dynamika. Ty člověk z krajiny odstranil, nebo jejich vliv drasticky omezil, donedávna ale zajišťoval náhradu, například v podobě výmladkového hospodaření a pastvy domácích zvířat. Posledních 200 let světlé lesy výrazně ubývají, z běžného ekosystému pokrývajícího místy většinu krajiny dnes zbývají jen opravdu poslední, rozlohou nepatrné zbytky. Světlé lesy jsou opomíjenou ochranářskou prioritou. Jejich drastický úbytek, který postihl volnou krajinu i chráněná území, je jednou z hlavních příčin výrazného a setrvalého poklesu biodiverzity v naší zemi. Light traps are one of most applied methods to survey moths and ultraviolet lamps are widely used. In this study I evaluate if the actinic light spectrum won’t provide better results. In six nights in six forest stands, two Heath traps were placed simultaneously, one with ultraviolet light and another with actinic light. The ultraviolet traps captured 162 individuals of 51 species while the actinic light traps captured 294 individuals of 60 species. The ANOVA test found no significant differences in the allocation of species and individuals per family among areas captured by the actinic (F = 0,2894, df = 5, p = 0,92; F = 0,2568, df = 5, p = 0,93) or by the ultraviolet (F = 0,4515, df = 5, p = 0,81; F = 0,61, df = 5, p = 0,69) Heath traps. Nevertheless the Shannon and the Margalef measures of biodiversity disclosed that the actinic light provides a better image of the moth communities present in the research areas. This study presents a synthesis of the current knowledge regarding the Lepidoptera fauna of Bucharest and the surrounding areas within a distance up to 50 kilometers around the Romanian capital. Data about the fauna composition are presented: the results of the research work beginning with the end of the 19th century, as well the results of the research work carried out in the last 15 years. The research initiated and done by the author himself, led to the identification of 180 species which were unknown in the past. Even if the natural habitats from this region have undergone through radical changes in the 20th century, the area still preserves a quite rich and interesting Lepidoptera fauna. The forests provide shelter to rich populations of the hawk moth Dolbina elegans A. Bang-Haas, 1912, one of the rarest Sphingidae in Europe, and some other species with high faunistical and zoogeographical value as: Noctua haywardi (Tams, 1926) (it is new record for the Romanian fauna from this area), Catocala dilecta (Hübner, 1808), Tarachidia candefacta (Hübner, [1831]), Chrysodeixis chalcites (Esper, [1789]), Aedia leucomelas (Linnaeus, 1758), and Hecatera cappa (Hübner, [1809]). We also present and discuss the current status of the protected Lepidoptera species from the surroundings of the Romanian capital for the first time. Résumé. This research was carried out in order to determine the species composition of Lepidoptera family of the Lower Amudarya State Biosphere Reserve. The Noctuoidea group is a major species included in the Lepidoptera species. The research materials were collected in four refuges (Beruni, Kegeyli, Sultan, Amudarya) from March 2017 to November 2018. A list of species has been compiled in this region for two years. The obtained results show that in the studied area, 1,000 types of moths were collected. It was found out that they belong to the Noctuoidea family. DRL lamp handles were used for catching the moths. Red wine and sugar solutions were also used to attract moth butterflies. T-PVS (2000) 26 - 2 – The Group of Experts on the Conservation of Invertebrates held its 6th meeting in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) on 13 May 2000, in accordance with the terms of reference set up by the Standing Committee. The Standing Committee is invited to : 1. thank the Swiss conservation authorities, the Canton of Neuchâtel and the City of Neuchâtel for the material support for the meeting ; thank the Swiss Centre for Cartography of Fauna for the excellent preparation of the meeting ; 2. take note of the report of the meeting ; 3. examine and, in appropriate, adopt the draft recommendation enclosed on Action Plan for Margaritifera margaritifera (Appendix 4) and and Action Plan for Margaritifera auricularia (Appendix 5) ; 4. when taken decisions on the programme and budget for 2001 to 2003, take into account the following activities : - Strategy on Invertebrate Convservation in Europe ; - Red Book on Odonata ; - Strengthening of Bern Convention website with invertebrate information ; - European Project on conservation of Margaritifera margaritifera ; 5. when deciding on the future of this group, take into account a possible co-ordination with other initiatives on invertebrate conservation, such as the European Invertebrate Survey, which might be asked to play a future role in assessing the Convention on invertebrate issues.

The study yielded 273 species, i.e. 55 % of the Polish Noctuoidea. Its results clearly indicate that the study area is of crucial importance to the conservation of noctuid biodiversity, not only in Poland, but also in Europe. This area is inhabited by a number of stenotopic species, considered to be rare and threatened with extinction in Poland as well as in central Europe as a whole, e.g.: Idia calvaria, Meganola togatulalis, Diachrysia zosimi, Syngrapha microgamma, Abrostola asclepiadis, Acronicta menyanthidis, Heliothis ononis, Hoplodrina respersa, Lithophane lamda, Xylomoia graminea, Hydraecia ultima, Diarsia florida, Lycophotia molothina, Paradiarsia punicea, Xestia castanea, Coenophila subrosea and Euxoa vitta.
