Sign up and pay on your Accounting Form at the April Meeting. Old Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, known as the “King of the Missions”, was founded in 1798. This National Historic Landmark is the largest of all the 21 California missions. Facilities include: a Retreat Center, a Cemetery open to all people, Mission Gift Shop, Historic Church, and interpretive Museum. The presentation will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive by 9:20 AM to check in. Set aside 2½ to 3 hours for your visit. That will give you time to visit the museum, explore the grounds further in small groups, and have lunch in their area.

Come join in celebrating the end of the school year! Each participant will receive two hours of bowling, shoe rental, two slices of cheese pizza and soda. Add on two action packed rounds of laser tag by paying $16.50. The laser tag arena is a 2-story, 3,500 sq.ft. alien landscape. Bowling lanes include automatic bumpers and lightweight balls for the youngest bowlers. After bowling, visit the arcade and redemption center. For non-bowlers and those with dietary restrictions: the food is excellent and you are welcome to order from the full menu. The bowling/pizza price per person is part of a package deal and cannot be itemized.

The Flower Fields in Carlsbad has 50 acres of extraordinary color overlooking the Pacific Ocean.The educational program is a great way to learn about growing plants, composting with worms, good bugs & bad bugs, pollination, plant benefits, water conservation and local history. The tour includes hands on learning, a walk through the pathways of the Pea Maze and a wagon ride through the breathtaking, vibrant ranunculus. Bring a morning snack and a sack lunch to enjoy in the picnic area. Students are welcome to play in Santa’s Playground. The “outdoor classroom” time of our tour is geared for K-6th graders only. Younger and older siblings who may attend are welcome in every other part of the tour (including the wagon ride) except for the “outdoor classroom” portion. Parents’ ticket price also includes the wagon ride.

Enjoy the wonders this local gem has to offer including hiking trails, historical landmarks, wildlife, vernal pools and more. Pack a lunch and come early to enjoy under the great oak tree 11:30 AM. 2018-2019 ASB STUDENT COUNCIL Application (found on the ISP website) is due by the April Teachers’ Meeting. After that, students will be interviewed and, if approved, be allowed to start campaigning. 8th Graders may run for Freshmen Representative and candidates will be allowed to come to the May PaLM to see how council works. ASB elections are on Tuesday, June 5th.
