NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION NO – 01 OF 2020-2021/ A.E./CSDN/S.S./P.W.Dte.

The Assistant Engineer, Contai Sub-Division, Social Sector, P.W.Dte. is here by invited Sealed Quotations on behalf of the Governor of from the bonafide, resourceful and experience agency/firmfor the work of“Refilling the expireddifferent type portable fire extinguisher and install the same at existing location at Sub Divisional Hospital at Egra in the District of Purba Medinipur” as per Terms and Conditions mentioned below. The filled Quotation along with all other required documents to be submitted in the tender box kept in the chamber of the Assistant Engineer, Contai Sub-Division, Social Sector, P.W.Dte at New Digha on or before 24/08/2020 at 1.00 pm and will be opened after 2.00 pm on the same day. The Quotation should be submitted in two separate sealed envelope one will carry all documents of Technical bid (Required document as stated in N.I.Q) and other envelope will carry the rate on prescribe Proforma (Annexure-I)& Demand Draft as EMD at attached in this N.I.Q. Allthe envelops should carry the name, address & ph. No of the bidder perfectly and the name of the work with N.I.Q. No for which it is being submitted.

Terms & Conditions must be followed while submission of the Quotation:- 1. The Quotations are received after the above date and time & unsealed shall not be entertained any circumstances whatsoever. 2. Submission of the Quotation documents shall not be entertained throughany postal or courier service at any circumstances whatsoever. If any Quotationer send their Quotation through any postal or courier the Quotation shall be summarily rejected. 3.Quotations must be in the enclosed prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I) on the letter head of the agency/firm duly signed by the Proprietor/Partner/ Director or their authorized representative, in case of signing of Quotation by the authorized representative, letter of authorization must be attached with the Quotation. 4.Bidder must quote the rate of the work as per specification provided in Annexure-I attached in this Quotation. 5. Rates must be quoted in Indian rupees (Word & Figure) inclusive of all taxes/ duties etc. for destination and the rate should be valid for the 1 (one) year from the date of opening of this Quotation. There will be no change of rates with market variation. 6. No overwriting or cutting is permitted in the rate. If found, the Quotation shall be summarily rejected. 7. Becoming lowest Quotationer will not be the criteria for awarding of the work order unless the rates are reasonable & justified and lowest bidder will be decided on individual item basis. 8. The firm/agency should satisfy the following conditions and attach self-attested copy of the same with

the Quotation: i) Firm shall be experienced with the above work. ii) The firm shall have valid GST, PAN card, Trade Licence, Current P.T. Challanand Income tax return (A.Y. 2019-2020) etc. iii) The firm should not be black listed by any Govt. Agency/Dept. iv) TheQuotationers shall have to submit the EMD (Earnest Money) @ 2% of the total amount of the work quoted. 9. Quotations qualified by such vague and indefinite expressions such as “subject to prior confirmation”, “subject to immediate acceptance” etc. will be treated as vague offers and rejected accordingly. Any conditional Quotation shall be rejected summarily. 10. The Quotationers may be asked to submit a sample of the product(s), which will be evaluated by a technical evaluation committee. The expenditure incurred for demonstrating the items will be borne by the supplier. 11.Liquidated Damage: - If the Quotationer fails to execute the work properly as per N.I.Q. within the stipulated date, then Earnest Money Deposit will be forfeited. 12.Payment Terms: Payment will be made only after satisfactorily completion of the work and after inspection by the authority. The payment will be made after submission ofnecessary documents and availability of fund.. 13. Accessories and materials required in price bid as specified in Annexure I will be Supplied as per site requirement& calculated accordingly. 14. The Executive Engineer, TamlukDivision, Social Sector, P.W. Dte. reserves the right toincrease or decrease quantity and / or amount of work. 15. The Assistant Engineer, Contai Sub-Division, Social Sector, P.W. Dte. reserves the right toreject any Quotation or part or the whole of inviting Quotation process without assigning anyreason thereof. Decision of the undersigned will be final in this regard. 16. The Quotationer is advised to inspect and examine the site before quoting the rate and in this regard please contact with the office of the undersigned for any further clarification. 17. The materials are to be supplied and Installed by the Quotationers from their stack-yard to the working site in the district of PurbaMedinipur. 18.No Payment in Advance will be made. 19. The Site will be totally cleaned after completion of the work and mending good damages by the Agency at his own cost. 20. As per norms 10% of total value of the bill will be retained as Security Deposit for defect liability period as per Clause no. 17 of W.B.F no. 2911-(i),(ii) and 1% Labour Welfare Cess and GST & Income Tax will be deducted asnorms from the work bill. 21. The Agency will be fixed a tentative date for a demonstration with his own cost in presence of staff member of the concern institution before submission of this bill.
