In the name of ALLAH, the most gracious the most merciful To My Beloved Family ABSTRACT The process of local and regional planning represents an important and influential branch of science that determine the trends of urban growth at the levels of cities, Governorates, and regions. The increasing interest for the strategic planning but at the local and national level only leaving a gap between them that only regional urban planning could fill. This came in line with the orientations of the state towards a comprehensive development of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as some authors may suggest ‘The nature of some planning issues requires intervention at the regional level of planning.(Vasilevska, Ljiljana and Milanka, 2009) Due to the importance of the global experiences which appeared grounded on the theories of development and the national & regional planning in Europe, Asia as well as America, it was necessary to use those experiences to develop a successful methodology of strategic planning at the regional level in Egypt. This work studies the different experiences of regional plans and future visions for Egypt by studying & analysing the goals and main points which aim to develop those regions. As a result of the lack of research and academic studies at the regional level, it became useful to examine this branch of studies -regional spatial planning- to reach clear methodology while suggesting a future vision of the region as to improve the quality of life, to strength the regional identity and to develop new forms of regional collaboration. The western Mediterranean and the northern Alexandria gas fields are planned to be a part from the national plan and expected to produce 900 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) in 2019. Raven gas field is one of those fields which GASCO (the Egyptian natural gas company) decided to procure, construct and operate a new gas pipeline to transfer rich gas from Raven gas field in north Alexandria to the western desert gas complex (WDGC) and Amreya Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant in Alexandria. The extracted gas will be transported through a new gas pipeline, hereunder named ‘’the project’’, with 70 km length and 30’’ inch diameter to WDGC and 5 km length 18” inch diameter to Amreya LPG. The proposed project will be funded from the World Bank(WB) by the excess of fund from the south-helwan project (due to a change in scope of south helwan project, there is loan saving of US$ 74.6 m which GASCO decided to employ it in the proposed project).

Transforming New Borg El Arab EcoNBC feasibility study City into an EcoCity was one of the main drivers for EcoNBC project (EcoCity Capacity Building in New Borg El Arab City). Carrying out a Feasibility Study to explore more in detail the viability of the idea was one of the first steps to be taken towards that transformation. E-mail: [email protected] Abstract In the present study, a checklist of new records of the family Chalcididae of Egypt is presented based on a total of 180 specimens collected from 24 different Egyptian localities between June 2011 and October 2016, mostly by sweeping and Malaise traps. Nineteen species as well as the subfamily Epitraninae and the genera Bucekia Steffan, Epitranus Walker, Proconura Dodd, and Tanycoryphus Cameron, are newly recorded from Egypt. A single species previously placed in the genus Hockeria is transferred to Euchalcis Dufour as E. rufula (Nikol’skaya, 1960) comb. nov. Key words: Parasitic wasps, Chalcidinae, Dirhininae, Epitraninae, Haltichellinae, new records, new combination Introduction The Chalcididae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) is a medium-sized family represented by more than 1500 described species in 93 genera (Aguiar et al. 2013; Noyes 2017; Abul-Sood et al. 2018). A large number of described species are classified in the genus Brachymeria Westwood (about 21%), followed by Conura Spinola (20.3%) (Noyes 2017).
