BARNETT MINISTRY — CHANGES Statement by Premier MR C.J. BARNETT (Cottesloe — Premier) [3.52 pm]: Mr Speaker, I take this opportunity to inform members of the following changes to the ministry that came into effect on 14 December 2010: Hon Helen Morton, MLC, has been appointed Minister for Mental Health; Disability Services; and Hon Troy Buswell, MLA, has been appointed Minister for Transport; Housing. A number of other changes to the ministry have also taken place as follows: Hon , MLA, has been appointed Deputy Premier; Minister for Health; Tourism; Hon Christian Porter, MLA, has been appointed Treasurer; Attorney General; Hon Dr Elizabeth Constable, MLA, has been appointed Minister for Education; Hon Simon O’Brien, MLC, has been appointed Minister for Finance; Commerce; Small Business; Hon John Day, MLA, has been appointed Minister for Planning; Culture and the Arts; Science and Innovation; Hon Peter Collier, MLC, has been appointed Minister for Energy; Training and Workforce Development; Indigenous Affairs; Hon Robyn McSweeney, MLC, has been appointed Minister for Child Protection; Community Services; Seniors and Volunteering; Women’s Interests; Youth; Hon Terry Redman, MLA, has been appointed Minister for Agriculture and Food; Forestry; Corrective Services; and Hon , MLA, has been appointed Minister for Environment; Water. In addition, the following parliamentary secretaries have been appointed: Hon Wendy Duncan, MLC, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Regional Development; Lands; Hon Michael Mischin, MLC, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Attorney General; Mr Murray Cowper, MLA, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Training and Workforce Development; Indigenous Affairs; Mr Tony Simpson, MLA, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Youth; Mrs Liza Harvey, MLA, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Small Business; and Hon Donna Faragher, MLC, has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier.
