Why Such Academic Tour

Now, Management Education has been widely focused across the Globe and there is much to learn seeing practically the Best Practices practiced elsewhere in other HEIs. We, at Sambhram, visualized such scenario and planned for the students exposure to University of Kuala Lumpur and University Technology, Malaysia; also sightseeing for a better understanding of the situational management. However, this was the First of such visit by our students abroad.

The Malindo Air left Kochi International Airport at 12 midnight IST with all of us with the guidance of Aviation Coordinator Mr. Fahad and Mr. Jyothish and headed by Principal. We reached Kuala Lumpur at 7 Hours in the morning. Our Tour Guide Mr. Lingam received us in the Airport.

Day One: Putrajaya 14-10-2018/ Place 01

The first visit was to Putrajaya, Malaysia, South of Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its late- 20th-Century architecture including the Putra Mosque made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the Prime Minister’s office complex and even the Malaysian Parliament with Ministerial Offices. It was astounding to learn the PM of Malaysia is leading the country at the age of 93. Then seeing the places around we had lunch on the way to check in at the Hotel ‘ Regal Park’ for our Four-Day International Stay till October 17, 2018 morning.

Day Two: 15-10-2018

Place 2: Genting Highlands

We reached Genting Highlands through CAbel Car originally known as Genting Highlands Resort is an Integrated Hill Resort comprising hotels, shopping malls, theme parks and casinos perched on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali at 1,800 meters high and nestled near the border between the Malaysian States of and . It was enjoying for all of us to have South Indian lunch and dinner outside India at Kuala Lumpur this day with delicious cuisines.

Place 4: Batu Malai Sri Murugan Temple

World's Tallest Murugan Statue is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu (Stone River) which flows past the hill.

Place 6:- Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world.

Day 03: 16-10-2018

Place 6 University of Kuala Lumpur

In the University Kuala Lumpur Campus Business School we had Communication Session along with their BBA Students; two BBA students shared their experiences of becoming entrepreneurs in future. Our Principal had dialogue with officials of UniKL for possible academic collaboration. Our students had interaction with their counterparts at that University and exchanged ideas and innovations with them. Towards the end all of us had tea and snacks and then left for other event in the itinerary.

Place 7: Malaysia’s National Palace

Istana Negara is Malaysia’s National Palace. Built in 1928 it is located along Jalan Istana and the 13-acre castle used to be the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia.

Place 8: National Monument Kuala Lumpur (Tugu Negara)

Place 9: Thean Hou Temple Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest and largest temples in South-East Asia. Southwest of the city, it is a popular tourist attraction and is located along Jalan Klang Lama. Overlooking the Federal highway, the six-tiered Buddhist temple is also known as the Temple of the Goddess of Heaven. Dedicated to Tian Hou, a goddess said to protect fishermen, the temple is a shrine where many come to worship Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Built by KL’s Hainanese community in 1894, it is atop the hill and offers wonderful views of the city.

Place 10: Site Seeing

NATIONAL TEXTILE MUSEUM; It is located near Independence Square. It is housed in a morissh aritecture building; built sometime in 1896.

The day started with welcome speech by Deputy Director of ARI, UiTM

Then we had 3 sessions during the day

Session 1.Introduction of Financial Criminology

Session 2.Introduction to Polygraphy LUNCH BREAK

Post lunch Principal had session with the Management, ARI and students had session 03

“Innovation in Social Science”

After the sessions there were photo sessions having all academia of ARI, UiTM and our team; then a warm send off was given by ARI to all of us. On the last day at 4 pm till 6 pm all students had the opportunity to enjoy at the Mitsui Outlet Park Kuala Lumpur: the Factory Outlet Shopping to quench their shopping hunger.

Place 12: SHOPPING

Conclusion

It was a live experience for the youngsters of BBA Course at Sambhram to broaden their horizon to the globe and emulate the best practices from Universities at Kuala Lumpur and Mara, Malaysia.
