Phoracantha recurva Newman, sparse, yellowish-brown pubescence. Elytra predomi- 1840 and Coptosia sancta (Reiche, 1877) were found nantly light brown. Basal half of elytra with coarse and in Mersin and Antalya provinces in Turkey. They are deep punctation, apical half with only weak and sparse recorded for the first time for the longhorned beetles punctuation. Shoulders and basis of elytra black in a fauna of Turkey. A rare species, Parmena mutilloides narrow area. Black area on shoulders extend forward to Sabbadini & Pesarini, 1992, is a new for Isparta prov- back in a short distance in lateral view. INTRODUCTION The Cerambycidae collections preserved in “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History from Bucureºti (Bucharest), consists of: - material from the old coleopteran collection from the Palaearctic area (which gather specimens from Richard Canisius, Deszö Kenderessy, Eduard Fleck, Fridrich Deubel, Arnold Lucien Montandon, Emil Varady collections, acquired between 1883 – 1923); - lots of material from Dr. Nicolae Sãvulescu’s collection acquired between 1961 – 1982 and material from the same collection, which were included in the Museum patrimony in 1992, after Dr. Nicolae Sãvulescu’s death; - specimens obtained by exchange with foreign specialists and collectors; - donations: Daniel Kubisz, Mihai ªerban Procheº, Viorel Ungureanu, Petru Istrate; - material collected in the field in Romania by the specialists of the “Grigore Antipa” Museum and by their collaborators, during 1946 – 2009. - material collected from Morocco, Turkey, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Syria (Expeditions of „Grigore Antipa” Museum in the Mediterranean countries), during 2005 – 2008. -

Cet ouvrage présente la distribution commentée des 250 espèces de longicornes de France métropolitaine (avec la Corse), pour la période 1970-2018. L’atlas est fondé sur la compilation et la synthèse de 137 000 données partagées dans l’inventaire national du patrimoine naturel (INPN-SINP1), issues de 395 jeux de données et des citations d’environ 3 500 observateurs. Après validation des données et suppression des doublons, 102 300 données ont servi à établir les cartes de distribution par maille 10 x 10 km et les histogrammes de saisonnalité par décade pour les 81 Cerambycinae, 83 Lamiinae, 63 Lepturinae, 2 Necydalinae, 5 Prioninae, 12 Spondylidinae et 4 Vesperidae. -

Munis Entomology & Zoology, 12 (1): 1-4] ABSTRACT: Parmena europaea Danilevsky, sp. nov. is described from Ukraine and Rumania. The new species is supposed for Moldavia. Parmena istanbulensis Danilevsky & Hizal, sp. nov. is described from European Turkey (Istanbul environs). Both new species are similar to P. balteus balteus (L.); the distinguishing characters are discussed. KEY WORDS: New species, taxonomy, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae, Parmena, Moldavia, Rumania, Turkey, Ukraine Parmena species similar to P. balteus (Linnaeus, 1767) was several times recorded from Eastern Europe with different names, but all were not adequate. Plavilstshikov (1932) mentioned it for South-West Ukraine as P. balteus balteus (Linnaeus, 1767), which was originally described from “Lusitania” (South France, see Sama, 1984) and distributed also in North-West Italy and West Switzerland. Plavilstshikov (1958) joined Ukrainian population from Poltava Region (Yareski, 49°50'N, 33°54'E) to Italian P. unifasciata Rossi, 1790 (as P. balteus unifasciata). P. balteus (= unifasciata Rossi following Danilevsky, 1980) was recorded for the European part of USSR by Lobanov et al. -

269 Exotic bark- and wood-boring Coleoptera in the United States: recent establishments and interceptions1 Robert A. Haack Abstract: Summary data are given for the 25 new species of exotic bark- and wood-boring Coleoptera first reported in the continental United States between 1985 and 2005, including 2 Buprestidae (Agrilus planipennis and Agrilus prionurus), 5 Cerambycidae (Anoplophora glabripennis, Callidiellum rufipenne, Phoracantha recurva, Sybra alternans, and Tetrops praeusta), and 18 Scolytidae (Ambrosiodmus lewisi, Euwallacea fornicatus, Hylastes opacus, Hylurgops palliatus, Hylurgus ligniperda, Orthotomicus erosus, Phloeosinus armatus, Pityogenes bidentatus, Scolytus schevyrewi, Tomicus piniperda, Xyleborinus alni, Xyleborus atratus, Xyleborus glabratus, Xyleborus pelliculosus, Xyleborus pfeilii, Xyleborus seriatus, Xyleborus similis, and Xylosandrus mutilatus). In addition, summary interception data are presented for the wood-associated beetles in the families Bostrichidae, Buprestidae, Cerambycidae, Curculionidae, Lyctidae, Platypodidae, and Scolytidae, based on the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service “Port Information Network” database for plant pests intercepted at US ports of entry from 1985 to 2000. Wood-associated insects were most often intercepted on crating, followed by dunnage and pallets. The five imported products most often associated with these 8341 interceptions were tiles, machinery, marble, steel, and ironware. Notarbartolo, 54 int. 13 – 90145 Palermo, Italy; e-mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT The woods in Sicily are the result of centuries of anthropogenic activities that have reduced the surface of wood and changed the original composition even with the introduction of alien species to native flora. The value in terms of biodiversity of these forests remains, however, high for they are the last refuge areas for many animals and plant species. This study was conducted within the Ficuzza woods (West Sicily), extended about 5,000 hectares on the slopes of limestone-dolomite rock of Busambra (1615 m asl), within which lies the largest remaining forest area in western Sicily. It is an area with a wide diversity of vegetation, represented mainly by native forests (holm oak, cork oak, deciduous oaks), groups of riparian vegetation, shrubs, bushes, grasslands, and of non-native forest formations (Pinus and Eucalyptus woods). The study on Cerambycidae in this area is fragmented and does not specify a relation the species with the surrounding vegetation. This study was performed by choosing among various groups of insects, xylophagous Coleoptera Cerambycidae; existing literature data and extensive collected field data were reviewed. -

Queste sono in effetti due sot- tili linee di peluria chiara, pih lungs della tomentositii del fondo, ad andamento ondulato, una sopra la meth dell'elitra, l'altra appena sotto di questa. Tutto il cor- po, compresi gli articoli antennali, l'addome e le zampe, ricoperti da una finissima tomentositii di fondo uniforme e da lunghe setole erette. Proncto con punteggiatura profonda molto regolare, nascosta sul disco da pubescenza grigia coricata; tubercoli laterali ottusi, senza spine o sporgenze evidenti. Antenne, nei due sessi, molto pih corte del corpo; 1" articolo distintamente pih lungo del 4". Tutti gli articoli non distintamente anellati alla base di peluria chiara. Punteggiatura elitrale profonda; i punti disposti in serie longitudinali, pih o meno regolari e pih o meno evidenti, separate da un accenno di interval10 costiforme. Zampe corte e -tozze; i femori pih fortemente clavati, le tibie maggiormente incurvate e gli articoli dei tarsi pih tozzi che in tutte le altre specie del genere. Lobo mediano dell'edeago (fig. 30) di forma del tutto particolare; allungato, troncato all'apice, fortemente incavato nella regione dorsale; lamina superiore lunga e stretta. -
