Humphrey’s McGee Releases 2018 Tour Dates Notre Dame band of 20 years to tour across the country

INDIANAPOLIS— South Bend rock band Humphrey’s McGee releases their upcoming tour schedule. The schedule is as follows:

September 9: Angry Orchard Festival in Walden, NY October 4: CrossroadsKC in Kansas City, MO October 5: The Sylvee in Madison, WI October 6: The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago October 11: The Fillmore in Charlotte, NC October 12: Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC October 13: MECU Pavilion in Baltimore October 14: The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY October 18: The Canopy Club in Champaign, IL October 19-20: Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN December 28-31: The Tabernacle in Atlanta

Humphrey’s McGee was formed in 1997 on Notre Dame’s campus and features members , , Ryan Stasik, , Kris Meyers and newest member, . Humphrey’s McGee of Nothing Too Fancy Music label is a rock band that exper- iments with multiple genres such as jazz, funk and blues and is influenced by many oth- er artists. “Our sound is heavily influenced by artists like King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and Genisis,” said band member Joel Cummins. The band has released nine studio albums in their 18+ years of performing to- gether, and are very excited to release the dates and information for their upcoming 2018 tour. “I’ve been playing with the guys for a while now, but I haven't toured with the band yet, so I’m really looking forward to being on the road with everyone and seeing our fans come out to support our music,” says newcomer to the band, Jake Cinninger. About Umphreys McGee Umphreys McGee was formed in 1997 at Notre Dame University by Joel Cummins, Brendan Bayliss, Ryan Stasik, Andy Farag, Kris Meyers, and later on joined by Jake Cinninger. The band makes music influenced by the genres of rock, funk, jazz, blues, electronic, bluegrass and folk. After only eight months together, they released their de- but album, Greatest Hits Vol. III, and since, they have released eight additional studio albums.
