• GUATEMALA • Denials have come as thick and fast as reports that there would be a special miniature sheet com­ memorating the U. S. Constitution. Naively overlooking the denials we cull the following from the rumors. There will be 60,000 sheets issued, either the end of October or in Novem­ ber. The sheet will contain four airmail stamps with a face value of 38 cents. The cloors will be light and dark blue with a dark brown center. One stamp will show the portrait of President Wash­ ington, the next one of President Roose­ velt, the third a map of the Americas with planes in flight, and the fourth will probably show the Pan-American build­ ing in Washington.

• ITALY • The Caesar Augustus set has come to hand. The usual photogravure style has been used and the stamps are historically interesting. Latin quotations from Horace and Virgil are used beneath the designs. Lilac is the color of the 25c. and . it presents a woman and her children with an eagle.
