Explaining The Nephilim Giants

‘When mankind began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them, the ‘sons of God’ (fallen angels) saw the daughters of men (human women) were beautiful and they took (raped) all the women they desired and chose. (As a result) there were Nephilim on the earth in those days and also afterwards when the ‘sons of God’ (fallen angels) lived with the daughters of mankind and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown’ (Genesis 6:1,2 & 4).

‘The people who dwell in the land are strong and the cities are fortified and very great. We saw the children (descendents) of Anak there … Amalek dwells in the land of the South … They brought up an evil report of the land they had spied out to the Children of Israel saying, “The land where we spied out is a land that eats up its inhabitants. All the people who we saw in it are men of great stature (giants). There we saw the Nephilim, the sons (descendents) of Anak who come of the Nephilim and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight’” (Numbers 13:28, 29, 32 & 33).

These evil beings called the Nephilim were the wicked giant offspring born to the women who had been raped by the fallen angels referred to as ‘the sons of God’. The Nephilim ‘men of renown’ were not decent men who were well known, they were vicious, violent, wicked half human, half fallen angels who later brought into existence the Amalek and Anakim (plural of Anak). There is another account of the same events written in more detail in the Book of Enoch, and this account gives us more information regarding the Nephilim. The Book of Enoch was once included in the Bible. The holy prophets, Jesus and the apostles all quoted from the Book of Enoch, which was removed from the Bible by the early church because they considered it to be ‘too spiritual’.

The Book of Enoch, Chapter 6 verses 1 to 8: ‘When the children of men (descendents of Adam and Eve) had multiplied, in those days beautiful and comely daughters were born to them. Some angels, the ‘sons of heaven’ saw and lusted after the women and said to one another, “Come, let us choose women from among the men and beget children.” Their (wicked) leader Semjaza said to the (fallen) angels, “I fear you will indeed agree to this deed and I alone will have to pay the penalty of a great sin.” The (fallen) angels all answered, “Let us swear an oath and all bind ourselves by mutual spoken curses not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.” Then they swore all together and bound themselves by mutual spoken curses upon the sin. They were in all, two hundred who descended in the days of Jared (Enoch’s father, Genesis 5:18) on the summit of Mount Hermon and they called it Mount Hermon because they had sworn the oath and bound themselves by mutual spoken curses on the summit.’

We can see by what is written here, the fallen angels knew they were about to commit a terrible sin for which they knew they would eventually be punished, but in their rebellion against God Who had created them, they continued with their path of destruction, destroying themselves and the women they raped. The fallen angels also taught mankind about witchcraft, astrology, the defiling of plant life, cannibalism, abortion and homosexuality. The Nephilim eventually turned against mankind and brought about the earth’s very first all out war. It was at this time when make up first appeared ‘to beautify the eyelids’. All of this happened before the worldwide flood when only Noah and his immediate family survived. It was this level of terror, violence, homosexuality and wickedness that brought about Noah’s flood. Thousands of years later, Jesus said just before He comes again the world would once again become just as wicked and godless as it was before the flood (Luke 17:26).

The Book of Enoch, Chapter 7 verses 1 to 6: ‘All the other (fallen) angels took to themselves women and each chose for himself a woman and they began to go into them and to defile themselves with them. They taught the women charms and enchantments (witchcraft), the cutting (grafting) of roots and made them acquainted with plants (defiling the perfect plant life created by God). The women became pregnant and bore great giants whose height was 3,000 ells (about 3½ metres or over ten feet tall). The giants consumed all the acquisitions of mankind and when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them. The giants devoured mankind and they began to sin against birds, beasts, reptiles and fish. They began to devour one another’s flesh and drink the blood (they became cannibals) then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.’ Chapter 8 verses 1 to 3: ‘Azazel (a fallen angel) taught the men how to make swords, knives, shields and breastplates (they encouraged war). He made known to men the metals of the earth and the art of working them and made bracelets, ornaments and the use of antimony (a brittle silvery metal used in alloys), the beautifying of eyelids, all kinds of precious stones and colouring tinctures. There arose much godlessness and the (fallen) angels committed fornication. Men were led astray and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments and root-cuttings. Armaros taught enchantments (witchcraft, occult). Baraqijal taught astrology. Kokabel taught the constellations. Ezeqeel taught the knowledge of the clouds. Araqiel taught the signs of the earth. Shamsial taught the signs of the sun and Sariel the course of the moon. As men perished they cried and their cries went up to heaven.’

Chapter 10 verses 1 to 22: ‘Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spoke and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech (Noah’s father, Genesis 5:28 & 29). “Go to Noah and tell him in My name, ‘Hide yourself!’ Reveal to him the end is approaching, the whole earth will be destroyed and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth and will destroy all that is on it, and instruct him how he (Noah) may escape and how his descendents may be preserved for all generations of the world. The Lord said to Raphael (a holy angel), “Bind Azazel hand and foot and cast him into the darkness. Make an opening in the desert in ‘Dudael’ and cast him in there. Place on him rough and jagged rocks and cover him with darkness. Let him abide down there forever and cover his face so he may not see Light (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6). On the day of the Great Judgement he will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). Heal the earth which the fallen angels have corrupted and proclaim healing of the earth, so they may heal the plague so all the children of men may not perish because of all the secret things the Watchers (rebellious angels) have disclosed and have taught their (evil) sons. The whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel and to him ascribe all sin.” To Gabriel (the holy messenger angel) the Lord said, “Proceed against the bastards (the wicked offspring of the fallen angels) and the reprobates, against the children born of fornication and destroy the children born of fornication, the children of the Watchers from amongst men. Cause them to go forth. Send them one against the other so they may destroy each other in battle, for length of days they will not have.’

Chapter 15 verses 1 to 12: ‘The Lord spoke to me (Enoch) and I heard His voice, “Fear not Enoch, you righteous man and scribe of righteousness, approach here and hear My voice. Go and say to the Watchers of heaven (fallen angels) who sent you to intercede for them, ‘You should intercede for men and not men for you. You have left the high, holy and eternal heaven and lain with women. You defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and have taken to yourselves women and done like the children of earth, and produced giant Nephilim as your sons. Though you were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women and have produced children with the blood of flesh, and as the children of men have lusted after flesh and blood, those also who do, perish. I have given the men wives so they might have children by them so nothing might be wanting to them on earth, but you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life and immortal for all the generations of the world. I have not appointed wives for you, for as the spiritual ones of the heavens, heaven is their dwelling. Now the giant Nephilim who are produced from the fallen angel spirits and the flesh (half human/half fallen angel) will be called evil spirits on the earth and on the earth will be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies. Because they are born from women and from the Watchers, their beginning and primal origin, they will be evil spirits on earth and evil spirits they will be called. The spirits of heaven, in heaven their dwelling will be (evil principalities and powers, Ephesians 6:12) but the spirits of the earth, born on the earth, on the earth will be their dwelling. The spirits of the Nephilim afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle and work destruction on the earth and cause trouble. They take no food but always hunger and thirst and cause offences. These spirits will rise up against the children of men and against the women because they have proceeded from them’” (Genesis 3:15). Chapter 16 verses 1 to 4: ‘From the days of the slaughter, destruction and death of the Nephilim, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits having gone forth, will destroy without incurring judgement (the women were innocent). Thus they will destroy until the day of the consummation, the Great Judgement in which the age will be consummated over the Watchers and the godless. Yea, they will be wholly destroyed. And now as to the Watchers who have sent you (Enoch) to intercede for them, the Watchers who had been in heaven before this time (before they sinned) say to them, “You have been in heaven but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew (had sex with) worthless ones and these mysteries, in the hardness of your hearts, you have made known to the women and through these mysteries, women and men work much evil on the earth.” Say to them therefore, “You have no peace’” (Isaiah 48:22; 57:21).

The Book of Enoch, chapter 69: ‘He showed how to smite the embryo in the womb so it might pass away.’ The terrible penalty for the fallen angels, the holy judgement from God is written in the Bible. ‘God did not spare fallen angels when they sinned but cast them down to shoal and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for Judgment Day’ (2 Peter 2:4). ‘Fallen angels who did not keep their first domain (in heaven) but deserted their own dwelling place, God has kept in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day’ (Jude 1:6). The two hundred rebellious angels that left heaven to rape the women are the ones in chains waiting for the final Judgement. The fallen angels that left heaven but did not rape women are still able to live freely in heaven for now but on Judgement Day, will be forced out of the Kingdom to their eternal destruction (Matthew 13:41 & 42). Those are the wicked forces in heaven the Bible says, “Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12) and they were all overcome by Jesus when He died on the cross and rose again victoriously to over come death (Colossians 2:15). All born-again, Holy Spirit filled Christians have been given authority over all of these wicked beings, on earth and in heaven. Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18). ‘Seventy disciples returned with joy saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!” Jesus said, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:17 to 20).

The initial Nephilim all died in Noah’s flood but the evil spirits that remained on earth because of their terrible sin of rape, remain on the earth to this day. The Anakim, Amalek and Nephilim continue because of the evil spirits that roam the earth, inhabiting the bodies of wicked people and thus continuing the wickedness of the initial group of Nephilim. There were giants on earth when King David killed Goliath the giant. ‘There went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines named Goliath of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span (nearly ten feet tall) … David put his hand in his bag and took a stone and slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead. The stone sank into his forehead and he fell on his face to the earth. David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone and struck the Philistine and killed him but there was no sword in the hand of David. David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword, drew it out of its sheath, killed him and cut off his head. When the (cowardly) Philistines saw their champion was dead they ran away’ (1 Samuel 17:4, 49 to 51).

During that time there were hundreds of giants all over the earth and they were all wicked. There was an entire army of the wicked, giant Philistines (1 Samuel 17:1) but they were only one group of giants. There were giants in Egypt (1 Chronicles 11:23). Sabeans were giants (Isaiah 45:14) who killed Job’s servants and stole his livestock (Job 1:15). Goliath had several brothers and several sons (2 Samuel 21:16 to 22; 1 Chronicles 20:4 to 8). When a person sins to the point where they become wicked, these evil spirits take hold of their lives, inhabit their minds and bodies and do exactly what the above verses said they would do. ‘The spirits of the Nephilim afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle and work destruction on the earth and cause trouble’. We no longer have giants on the earth like there once were but there is unimaginable wickedness and violence around the world. There have been hundreds of giant skeletons dug up around the world over the years. The photographs of them can be found on the internet. Many of the skeletons have an evil look on their faces. Some of them could have come from the Nephilim spirit that continues to roam the earth and we can be sure they were utterly wicked, violent, lustful and unredeemable.

Other groups of giants mentioned in the Bible are the Anakim, Amalekites, Rephidim and Og the king of the Bashans. ‘Only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. His bedstead was a bedstead of iron … nine cubits was its length and four cubits its breadth’ (Deuteronomy 3:11). Esau’s son Eliphaz was a friend of Job (Job 2:11) so giants roamed the earth during the days of Esau and Job. ‘Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son and she bore to Eliphaz, Amalek’ (Genesis 36:12). This gives us the time frame for when the Amalekites lived. Amalek was Esau’s grandson. The Amalekites were a nomadic tribe living in what is now the south of Israel (Numbers 13:29). They wanted to destroy the descendants of Jacob. It was through the wicked Nephilim, Amalek and Anakim, the anti-Semitic spirit first raised its terrible head and began to attack the Jewish people.

Israel’s first encounter with their enemies the Amalekites was after they had left Egypt. ‘Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim … Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword’ (Exodus 17:8 & 13). The Amalekites were not warriors they were cowards and this attack from the Amalekites was unprovoked and brutal. The tired, weary, disabled Israelites and those who were with them were savagely attacked from behind, like the cowards the Amalek are. The Lord said, “Remember what Amalek did to you by the way as you came forth out of Egypt, how he met you by the way and struck the hindmost of you, all who were feeble behind you, when you were faint and weary and he did not fear God’ (Deuteronomy 25:17 & 18). This attack was not over boundaries, water, food or property, it was pure jealousy and hatred of the Jewish people. The Lord said, “It will be, when your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around in the land which your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, you will blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky. You will not forget” (Deuteronomy 25:19). ‘He looked at Amalek and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations but his latter end will come to destruction’” (Numbers 24:20). The war against the Amalekites was clearly a spiritual one because the Lord said, “God will have war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Exodus 17:16). This verse infers the Amalek were spiritual descendents of the evil Nephilim spirits as does the second opening verse on the first page. They were the Amalekites and Anakim that came from the Nephilim (Numbers 13:28, 29, 32 & 33). No matter how many times the Children of Israel wiped out their enemies, they kept coming back in different forms because of the evil spirits that entered into wicked men. Trying to wipe out the evil spirits would be like trying to hold tennis balls under water. Tennis balls would keep popping up and resurfacing in different places and that is what trying to rid the earth of evil spirits is like. They will keep coming back in different forms in different places.

The Bible tells us about many wars between Israel and the Amalekites. Their hatred for the Jewish people was unrelenting and they allied themselves to other nations with the same spirit of hatred towards God’s people. The Lord sent King Saul to completely destroy every Amalekites along with their cattle, sheep, women, children and the elderly to wipe them off the earth but Saul disobeyed. He killed the people and captured the king but kept the livestock, incurring the wrath of God because the animals had been dedicated to idolatry, which in turn caused Saul to lose his kingship and it was handed to King David. Samuel had to kill the Amalekite king Agag (1 Samuel 15:1 to 33). Amalekites were still around when David was king. The cowardly Amalekites attacked, taking all of the Israelite’s wives and children, including King David’s wives and children while the Israelite soldiers were away engaged in another war, then they utterly burned the city of Ziklag. The first thing David did was pray and seek the Lord about the situation and on the Word of the Lord, David pursued the Amalekites. A young Egyptian man took David to where the Israelites were held captive. The Amalekites were eating, drinking, dancing and rolling around the ground in pure joy because of what they had been able to steal from the House of Judah. David struck them when they least expected it and retrieved everything that had been stolen. Every Amalek was killed except four hundred cowardly young men who leapt onto camels and fled (1 Samuel 30:1 to 19).

During the time of Hezekiah, the Simeonites (a tribe of the Children of Israel) warred against the Amalekites to destroy the remnant (1 Chronicles 4:41 to 43). A descendant of Amalekite King Agag named Haman (Esther 3:1) tried to destroy every Jewish person. After Haman’s evil plot failed, he and all of his sons were hanged on the gallows that had been erected to kill the Jews (Esther 9:25). We can read the entire story about the attempted annihilation of the Jewish population in the Book of Esther. Haman and his sons were killed but the Amalek continued to carry the hatred of the Jewish people onward into their future. Like tennis balls in water they continue to resurface.

God initially said He would destroy the Amalek. “I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky” (Exodus 17:14). Then He told the Israelites to destroy them. “You will blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky” (Deuteronomy 25:19). This was not a change of heart. God fights the spiritual world while humans fight the natural world. Everything that is being played out on earth is also being played out in heaven or in the unseen spiritual world. Wars that involve Israel are being fought on both levels. Victory is won by obedience to God rather then military might. God’s people, Jews and Christians alike need to live their lives in humility and obedience, being submissive to God, embracing Godliness and shunning evil (Romans 12:9, 17 & 21) and that deprives the evil spirits of the Amalek, Nephilim and the Anakim, the power to have victory over us. ‘Be subject (submit) to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you’ (James 4:7).

We can see the stark differences in the beliefs of Jacob, the forerunner to our Messiah and Christianity, and the beliefs of Esau, the grandfather of evil Amalek. Jacob and his descendants believe we were created in the image of God and every person has a purpose; the Lord designed and created the earth and the heavens and He rules the earth. From the beginning they embraced monotheism. They believe in creation, morality, a clear conscience, caring for the weak and vulnerable, enjoying God and His bounty, worshipping our Creator in Spirit and in truth, and being the Light of God to all nations. On the other hand, Esau’s descendants can only believe in fate, chaos, chance, luck, random, evolution, questionable sexual activities and they do not fear God as the Bible states (Deuteronomy 25:18). The current battle between the Jewish people and the evil spirit of Amalek is truth against lies and we can see that in the media. Israeli newspapers publish the truth about what is really happening in Israel. Then there are the evil journalists and reporters who lie about Israel and their activities, who make up stories about Israelis and publish it as truth and they are all under the control of the wicked Amalek and Nephilim spirit. They keep coming back.

Here is one terrible falsehood being touted today that proves the Amalek spirit and the Nephilim spirit are now using the false religion of Islam. Initially, the Muslim teaching on the Amalek was akin to what was written in the Bible. However, in recent times their story has changed and they have invented a new fake ‘history’ for the Amalek. They are now saying without any evidence, actually pretending, the Amalekites ruled over Arabia and Egypt (a lie, they never did), saying the Amalekites were an Arabian tribe (a lie, they were descendants of Esau the Hebrew), that they came to Canaan occasionally to trade (a lie, they were nomadic but lived in the south of what is now Israel and often attacked the Israelites). The Islamic writers have made these preposterous claims for which there is absolutely no basis, historical evidence or Scriptural evidence for any of them. It is true Amalek was an actual man and grandson of Esau but that is the only true thing they are claiming. Amalek and his descendants are true enemies of Israel as are the Muslims. Muslims want to destroy Israel but God wants to build Israel up and return all of them to their Promised Land. That makes it very obvious Jacob’s descendants and Esau’s descendants do not worship the same God. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all of their descendants. The devil is the god of the Amaleks, Nephilim, Anakim and the Muslims, and it is played out in the form of anti-Semitism and regular attacks on Israel and Jewish people everywhere. There are four identifying violent aspects of the evil spirit of Nephilim, Anakim and Amalek happening around the world but mainly in Israel today. (1) They pursue the Jewish people and Israel with the intent of annihilating them. (2) They show no mercy towards the Jewish people. (3) They kill, maim, attack and slaughter the Jewish people using any means available to them. (4) They are constantly furious with the Jewish people just for existing. One day the Muslims who do these things will have to stand before the God of the Jews on Judgement Day and give an account of their actions. Many nations, leaders, individuals, some pseudo ‘Christians’, their denominations and people who persecute Jews will all have to explain themselves to our Jewish Messiah Yeshua/Jesus, the Righteous Judge.

The descendants of Abraham, the Jewish people are the only people in the history of the earth who have suffered unrelenting, unparalleled, ongoing pure jealousy and hatred. It began with Ishmael’s rejection in favour of Isaac (Genesis 21:1 to 21), was exacerbated by the rejection of Abraham’s six sons born to his second wife Keturah (Genesis 25:1 to 6), then with Lot’s two sons Ben Ammi and Moab, born by incest and depravity (Genesis 19:31 to 38). Moab means ‘Offspring of a father’ and Ben Ammi means ‘Son of my father’. The jealousy and hatred continued with Esau and his descendants. These ten men brought ten different tribes into conflict with Isaac, Jacob and the Children of Israel. What made this situation even worse was Esau married two of Ishmael’s daughters, Mahalath and Basemath (Genesis 28:9; 36:3) and they all hated Jacob and his descendents. The Lord is all-powerful and will one day destroy every one of these ten wicked tribes (Amos 2:1 to 3). The Lord is engaged in a perpetual spiritual war against the descendants of Amalek because of the evil spirits that roam the earth causing trouble for mankind. As the second coming of our Messiah Yeshua draws closer, anti-Semitism will increase on earth as the battle rages in heaven. The evil spirits of Amalek, Nephilim and Anakim will not rest until it has attempted to destroy Israel through Islamic Fundamentalism and extremism but of course the Lord will never allow that to happen. They try to delegitimise Israel but God has other plans. Israel is the Lord’s treasured possession forever (Exodus 19:5).

We live in a world of things we can see and a spirit world we cannot see. Several times in the Bible the Lord God was described as the Lord of all spirits and spiritual life. ‘God of all spirits of all flesh’ (Numbers 16:22; 27:16; Revelation 22:6). ‘Whenever the unclean spirits saw Jesus they fell down before Him and cried, “You are the Son of God!” Jesus appointed twelve men to have the authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons’ (Mark 3:11 & 15). ‘I (Apostle John) saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon (the devil) and out of the mouth of the beast (another evil being) and out of the mouth of the false prophet (a third evil being), three unclean spirits something like frogs for they are spirits of demons performing signs, which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth (human leaders) to gather them together for the war of that great day of God the Almighty’ (Revelation 16:13 & 14). Just like the Amalekites and Nephilim were violent cowards, so are evil spirits both violent and cowardly and they are terrified of Jesus. ‘When Jesus came to the other side into the country, two people possessed by demons met Him there, coming out of the tombs exceedingly fierce so nobody could pass that way. Behold, they cried out saying, “What do we have to do with You Jesus Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (Matthew 8:28 & 29).

Israeli’s are going through a spiritual battle wherever they are but especially in Israel. Gentiles need to stand up for Israel, pray for them, embrace them, proclaim God’s promises to them until His victory has been achieved. It is through our giving, our acts of kindness, our showing the love of God to Israeli’s, the spirit of Amalek, Nephilim and Anakim will be overcome. We know their evil spirits will all end up in the Lake of Fire on Judgement Day but in the meantime, the Lord always accomplishes what He sets out to do and He has said Israel will return to his land and that is happening right now. The Lord says to Gentiles, “Comfort, comfort My people. Speak comfort to Jerusalem and call out to her, her warfare is accomplished” (Isaiah 40:1 & 2). ‘I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together. Where the tribes go up, even Yah's tribes according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord. There are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David's house. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper. Peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces. For My brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the House of the Lord our God, I will seek your good’ (Psalm 122:1 to 9).
