CHICAGO WHITE SOX 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS
The 2005 Chicago White Sox were honored with a ticker-tape parade and downtown rally on October 28, 2005, just two days after ending an 88-year title drought with the franchise’s fi rst World Series championship since 1917. Nearly 2 million fans turned out to honor the World Champions. The White Sox will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the World Series title throughout the 2015 season, highlighted by a team reunion on July 17-19 when Kansas City visits U.S. Cellular Field.
