Wanted: and His ! Encore Stage & Studio proudly presents Robin Hood

Production Runs November 4-13

Arlington, VA – Join us on a merry adventure at Artisphere’s Spectrum Theatre in Arlington, as Encore Stage & Studio performs Robin Hood on November 4-13, 2011.

The production runs November 4 through 13 at the Artisphere’s Spectrum Theatre. Appropriate for ages 4 and up. Adults $12; Children, Students, and Seniors $10. We are pleased to announce the return of Frank Pasqualino, who is directing this production. Mr. Pasqualino has directed past Encore productions such as Winnie the Pooh, and The Best Haunted House Ever. Mr. Pasqualino’s countless credits include Mount Vernon Community Children’s Theatre, The Little Theatre of Alexandria (LTA), and Port City Playhouse. In 2007, he directed the Washington area premiere of Intimate Apparel for LTA, which won the Ruby Griffith award for Outstanding Achievement in a Play.

The tremendous design team working alongside Mr. Pasqualino includes Debra Leonard (costumes), Michael Null (set and lighting) and Chuck Lenard (technical direction). “Encore is ecstatic to present this classic children’s play,” stated Sara Strehle Duke, executive director of Encore Stage & Studio. “We look forward to sharing this comical and heartwarming tale with children and their families.”

Encore Stage & Studio is proud to offer more performances and opportunities this season. On select Saturday evenings, Encore Presents performances will feature local artists from a variety of disciplines, including physical theatre, music, and storytelling to expand and enhance children’s theatre-going experience. Our upcoming performance will be Shivers: Storytelling by Megan Hicks, on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held at Theatre on the Run (3700 S. Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington, VA 22206). Tickets are $8.

Performance Dates and Showtimes Robin Hood runs from November 4-13, 2011. Showtimes are Friday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, November 11 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays, November 6 and 13 at 3:00 p.m.

All performances will be held at Artisphere’s Spectrum Theatre, located in the Rosslyn area, off of Wilson Boulevard (1611 North Kent Street, Arlington, VA 22209). Parking is free in the adjacent garage and the theatre is two blocks away from the Rosslyn station on Metro’s blue and orange lines.

Shivers: Storytelling by Megan Hicks will run on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Theatre on the Run, near the 395N Shirlington Rd. Exit (3700 S. Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington, VA 22206). Tickets are $8 general admission; Free parking.
