Fourth Concert Debut Recital Series Complete Programs 4117 Kyung-Wha Chung, 27-year-old, Korean-born violinist, has enjoyed extraordinary inter­ national success in recent seasons. She made her European debut in 1970 with the London Symphony Orchestra under Previn, and was immediately re-engaged for "many seasons to come." Within three days she was booked for thirty concerts th roughout Britain and offered a long term recording con­ trac t. Called on short notice to substitute in the Berlin Festival in 1971 , she was acclaimed by critics as "the sensation of the Festival." Her debut in Israel was highly acclaimed when she replaced Nathan Milstei n on two days' notice for a week of conce rts with the Israel Philbarmonic. In the United States she has appeared as soloist with the and Pittsburgh Symphony under Steinberg; the Chicago with Solti and Schmidt-Isserstedt, the Cleveland with Previn, Maazel, and M uti ; the with Barenboim, P revin, and Ceccato-and has given recitals in leading cities from coast-to-coast. Miss Chung's recital in Ann Arbor tonight is the last of four in this season 's "Debut Recital" Series .

Her predecessors in this worthy endeavor have been , , Gyorgy Sandor, and . Miss Norman performs with the exceptionall y fine University Symphony Orchestra, a 100- member group designated by Maestro Ormandy as "his junior ."
